I will be going to CDI College on bryne drive in Barrie starting September 19th. I am looking to setup a carpool from Orillia to Barrie. I have a Dodge Grand Caravan that can seat 7 and If I can find 6 people who need a ride to Barrie and back Monday to Friday or some days (up to you) we could make the cost of it really cheap.
My normal school schedule will be 8am to 1pm, so I am thinking leaving Orillia around 710am daily, return around 130pm. I can be a little flexible on the times to work something out. The first couple weeks of school my classes may be scheduled in afternoon so if that occurs I won't be able to do this schedule until it switches back to mornings.
Send me a name and details of your situation, let's work something out!
Thanks.

Lost Toolbox rubber mat.
Approximately 54 inches by 27.75 inches. 1/4 inch thick.
Says SnapOn in grey. Has a carbon fiber look to it.
At around 10am on March 5th we were transporting the toolbox to our home with a trailer and forgot to take the rubber mat off. Assuming it blew off on the way home.
We travelled from Veterans/Caplan avenue intersection to downtown Barrie then into Oro-Medonte along Veterans, Essa, Bradford street, simcoe street, Dunlop East, Blake street, Shanty Bay Road, Ridge Road through to line 9.
Best guess is along the first two or three streets mentioned.
Offering $50 cash if found and returned in any condition. (Assuming is still in one usable piece).
Please ask around! It’s going to be a pain in the ass to replace! If you can prove what it’s retail worth is we’ll gladly pay the replacement cost to have the original one that came with the toolbox.

We are looking for people born between 1946-1965 to take part in a study of leisure, work, and life transitions. While many baby boomers have begun to retire, others are unable to retire or are choosing not to retire for a variety of reasons. If this sounds like you, we want to learn from you. As a participant in this study, you will be asked to participate in an online blog with others in your generation by sharing your experiences and perceptions of leisure, work, and your decision not to retire. Your participation would involve 4 sessions per year for three years, each of which is approximately two weeks. You will be asked to log on to the blog about 5 times in each session. You can create new posts and/or comment on the posts of others. If you volunteer to participate, you will be contacted by a researcher to help you set up an account and get comfortable navigating the blog. In appreciation for your time, you will receive a $50.00 gift card annually. For more information about this study, or to volunteer for this study, please contact: Rebecca Genoe, Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies at 306-585-4781 or Email: rebecca.genoe@uregina.ca. This study has been reviewed and received approval through the Research Ethics Board, University of Regina.

Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer (OPACC), a registered charity based in Barrie that has been supporting families of children with cancer throughout Ontario since 1995, is selling a new children’s book to support childhood cancer families. 100% of the net profits of sales of this book sold through OPACC go directly to support OPACC.
"The Shadow & The Candle" was written by Dennis Scherer from Guelph, a grandfather of a child diagnosed with leukemia, to support childhood cancer organizations, including OPACC. The book is illustrated by Robin Baird Lewis, best known for her children’s book “Red Is Best.” Dennis’s grandson Logan was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of four in 2018 and is happily now thriving as a survivor. The book was inspired by the imaginative stories Dennis created for his grandchildren.
Buyers can support OPACC by purchasing the book online at www.opacc.org/childrensbook. The book is also available at Al Truistic’s Beer Bread Bakery in Gravenhurst. OPACC is also looking for local businesses to distribute the book in Barrie.
All proceeds go towards supporting the charity’s free programs and services for childhood cancer families in Ontario, including in-hospital support through its Parent Liaison program, community-based childhood cancer parent support groups throughout Ontario, hospital parking reimbursements, distribution of gift cards for gas and food, and advocacy on issues of importance to childhood cancer families.
