Responsibilities
•Complete projects with minimal guidance showing proactive attitude to design and installations.
•Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical devices in operation; dismantle/examine devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair or replace defective parts.
•Set-up and operate shop machinery such as lathe, power tools, drill press, grinders, band saws, cutting torch, welder.
•Use hand tools and pneumatic tools to modify/repair parts.
•Install new or repair/modify hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
•Improve reliability and uptime of equipment and proactively approach equipment issues with a preventive maintenance mentality.
Qualifications
•3-5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
•442A Industrial Electrician License or apprentice
•Will also consider equivalent from two-year College or technical school in maintenance mechanics or related field
•Knowledge of mechanical systems including gear boxes, motors, air compressors, pumps, AC, DC, drive troubleshooting, complex machine controls and instrumentation, complex welding/brazing, hydraulics, plumbing, pneumatics, carpentry
•PC computer skills

Responsibilities
- Create and update a list of prospective customers for use as sales leads (Engineering firms, Municipalities, Distributors, Contractors)
- Work with existing clients to upsell/ cross-sell
- Display and demonstrate the product, using samples and catalog
- Quote prices, and terms and prepare sales contracts for clients; complete material take-off based on blueprints
- Estimate date of delivery to the customer, based on knowledge of own firms production and delivery schedules

Qualifications

Responsibilities
Candidate will specialize in the development of production
processes, quality assurance programs, plans and schedules in
a variety of work centers such as metal fabrication, assembly,
brazing, testing/packaging, etc.
The Industrial engineering/manufacturing technologist performs
some or all of the following duties:
o Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality
assurance programs in manufacturing or in other industries
o Design plant layouts and production facilities
o Develop and carry out work study and related programs
o Develop and coordinate plant/equipment maintenance
programs
o Develop and carry out industrial health, safety and fire
prevention plans and programs and conduct safety training
programs
o Develop applications using CAD/CAM (computer-assisted
drafting, computer-assisted manufacturing) for the control
of computer numerical control (CNC) machines and other
manufacturing processes and operations.
o Collect and compile operational data and assist in the
development of estimates, schedules, specifications and
reports
o Collect and analyze data and samples in support of quality
assurance and industrial health and safety programs
o Develop manufacturing and processing procedures and
variables, set machine or equipment controls, oversee
production and inspect processes.
o Work with sales to determine automation level of new
processes to achieve cost targets
o Develop equipment RFQ’s for Engineering/Maintenance
review
o Produce prototype parts for new programs to determine
manufacturability
o Develop process flows, layouts, standard work with timing
and systems to estimate manpower requirements.
o Design/build simulations of new processes to test
feasibility.
o Improve safety, quality, efficiency and cost of existing
programs.
o Interact with Production members at all levels to
understand existing processes and to discuss new ideas
o Participate in quoting at Sourcing stage to help sales quote
competitive piece prices
Qualifications
o Completion of a two- or three-year college program or
equivalent in industrial engineering technology,
manufacturing technology or a related discipline is usually
required for industrial engineering or manufacturing
technologists.
o Completion of a one- or two-year college program in
industrial engineering technology or in a related discipline
is usually required for industrial engineering or
manufacturing technicians.
o Certification in industrial engineering or manufacturing
technology or in a related field is available through
provincial or territorial associations of engineering/applied
science technologists and technicians and may be required
for some positions.
o A college diploma in manufacturing technology and/or trade
certification and experience in machining and tooling or
metalworking is required for CAD-CAM/CNC programmers.

Responsibilities
• Complete projects with minimal guidance showing proactive attitude to design and installations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical devices in operation; dismantle/examine devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair or replace defective parts.
• Set-up and operate shop machinery such as lathe, power tools, drill press, grinders, band saws, cutting torch, welder.
• Use hand tools and pneumatic tools to modify/repair parts.
• Install new or repair/modify hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Improve reliability and uptime of equipment and proactively approach equipment issues with a preventive maintenance mentality.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
• 442A Industrial Electrician License or apprentice
• Will also consider equivalent from two-year College or technical school in maintenance mechanics or related field
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including gear boxes, motors, air compressors, pumps, AC, DC, drive troubleshooting, complex machine controls and instrumentation, complex welding/brazing, hydraulics, plumbing, pneumatics, carpentry
• PC computer skills

We are looking for a talented individual with an engineering background in controls design for Refrigeration units.
Be proficient with the use all necessary Electrical tools and components that are required to make the unit function effectively and safely. Obeying all the Electrical codes used in North America such as CSA and UL.
The position requires computer knowledge of Cad software preferably Solidworks to design and make the required wiring diagrams and physical component layouts of control boards.
