Bought it with a top end rebuild that turned into a complete engine rebuild. Has probably10 ish hours. Right outta the break in stage on the rebuild. I did the top(new piston, rings) and bottom end(new crank. Bearing were good still). New vforce3 reeds. Swing arm bushing and used 2005 rm250 plastics. Still is a project in the making. I have new forks from a yz for it, but need the triple clamps to put them on. Needs front sprocket and it’s missing one or two teeth. One front spoke is gone. And the back fender needs to be replaced. The 2005 fender doesn’t line up very nicely and the 1997 fender is cracked down the middle. Trade for a 450 4 stroke or possibly a standard Jetta or civic. Have a cr250 2 stroke for sale bike is great fires, runs and has a ridiculous amount of power. The top end has been redone, friction plates and clutch cables all replaced brand new tires on it, new spark plug, new oil throughout the bike and just filled the tank!
Bike runs amazing but has two flaws that’s it one is there is a leak in rear brakes doesn’t affect riding just top up and cleaning after use until it gets fixed and bike doesn’t stay idling so if you stop throttling the bike it shuts off haven’t looked into it but bike still runs great besides those two things!

50000km, comes with aftermarket seat, carbon fiber tank protectors, and KTM hard case panniers.
I have some spare parts, and the previous owner serviced it at GPbikes. I've owned this bike for 2~ years and perform my own maintenance. Valves were in spec.
Common issues you'll find online about this bike:
- water pump impeller/ shaft is fine, no leaks/ no coolant in the oil.
-fuel pump is fine, I also have a spare new one
- clutch slave cylinder - still on the OEM,no leaks. I replace the o-rings every season. I haven't had any trouble.
Make an offer or trade, resonalable offers will be considered. (These bike go for around $6/7000 out here in Toronto, ON.)
I can take more pictures if you would like. This is the best bike I've owned, lots of power and high ground clearance. Very rare bike, always turns heads in the adv bike scene. Own a piece of Dakar history.
