If you’ve tried getting into running and ended up with injuries or a lack of motivation to keep going we have a free run group starting Saturday Jan 27 that will take you from not running at all to running 10K in time for the Times Colonist 10K on April 28, 2024
This is a non-competitive, inclusive, supportive group. All are welcome. If you have friends or family also interested, bring them along! All paces are welcome. We will make sure no one is left behind.
We’ll meet 3X a week. Locations will move around Victoria but for the first few weeks we’ll likely meet at Esquimalt Gorge Park off Tillicum. You don’t need to make all three runs in person, we’ll email the plan before each run so you can make it up on your own if that works better for you. Group runs will be Monday at 6pm, Thursday at 6pm (will be Wednesday at 6pm starting April) and Saturday at 8am. Initial runs are pretty short and will get longer as we progress. Practices will
run up until the Times Colonist 10K.For anyone that is already a runner that perhaps is fine running on their own during the week but wants some company for longer runs on the weekend to prep for a half marathon we will also have a group aiming for either the Oak Bay Half or North Olympic.
As mentioned, this group is completely free, you have nothing to lose! If you’d like to join or have questions just respond this post. This is a great way to kick off 2024!

we race a 30' sailboat in the Victoria area usually Sundays in winter.

NOTICE to PUBLIC
Learn to Protect Yourself Against Negative Energy and Black Magic! (Free read)As some of you know from the strong curse-images that used to be around me for years, I and people who took those images seriously, were under attack by powerful Satanist sorcerers; - till a spiritual master recently taught me how to be protected, so that I too would share his knowledge with you to protect us all against the Satanists, black magicians and even negative energies. Here on my site, you too can learn to become Free from all negative energies and all black magic, forever! BEWARE that since I had no protection against their attacks for about two decades, the attacks' results altered some of my minor nerve functions and so sometimes the damaged nerves project a much weaker version of those curse-images. We are using Sister Shivani 's method, and somatic healing work to heal those nerves and finish the weak images as well. Whatever You Do, For Your Safety, Don’t Fall In The Trap Of Those Strong or Weak Curse-Images That The Satanists Had Put Around Me, For By Following The Sorcerers' Curse You Surrender Your Will To Their Trick And Fall Under Their Control!
To see my 'Defeat Magic' page on my google site go to: sites.google.com/view/blessings77/defeat-magic or click on 'Visit Website,' to your right, under my name.

We have 7 weeks left in our season and 2 races. We're looking for a couple more people for both our teams - Snappin' Dragons (womens) and Paddlers of the Fifth Moon (mixed) to help cover some people that are away and hopefully get a solid intro to dragon boat for next season! :)
Cost is $150 and includes 14 practices and 2 race - Victoria (Aug 12-13) and Vancouver Island (Aug26-27). Our crews train at the Fairway Gorge Paddling Club Tues and Thurs. Our womens crew is 530-7 and our mixed crew is 7-830pm.
Both teams have a wide age range and offer a very inclusive and supportive environment to experience dragon boat.
Absolutely no experience is needed and there are paddles and PFDs you can use. You just need to be fit, strong, committed, reliable and not prone to drama!
We train both sides with a strong focus on technique to avoid injury and create stronger paddlers. Our coach has over 20 years experience and is certified as a competitive coach. She is also currently the head coach of the Canadian National Para Dragon Boat Team and is partly responsible for the need for more paddlers as she'll be at the Worlds in Thailand during Victoria! :)
Side note - we are also hoping to start a local, competitively-minded para crew next season. We'll be looking for people with sensory, physical, neurological, psychological and developmental conditions as well as supporters to help build the team, let me know if you're interested!
Anyway, back to this season! We race Nanaimo Jul 8-9 but starting Jul 11 we'll be revisiting technique so it's an awesome time to come check it out for free! No pressure to join at all!
If interested or if you have questions, get in touch! :)

Hello,
I'm a quiet person, so I'd like to talk a bit more.
I'm looking for someone who can talk with me on the phone, the Internet, or email etc.
If you're Canadian, it'd be great because I'll be able to know more about Canada.
I may not be able to reply every day, but I'll try. ;)
Can you tell me a bit about yourself with your reply? Some guys ask me what I do and how old I am. I'm 120 years old and into tech, business and sports.
I think ChatGPT is becoming awesome.

Just looking to get a solid Meditation group going in Hamilton...no pressure to attend or any Fees but it's always nice to have some accountability partners! I have run many groups before with my students and have been Meditation for many years as well.On the cold days I use my Zoom channel and on the warm days I would like to be out in the park in the public taking in the warm Sun and calming Breeze...
Yoga is something I would like to incorporated soon as well.
