Prepare for an unparalleled journey of tranquility! Immerse yourself in a distinctive and revitalizing workshop within the serene confines of the beautiful lakeview lounge. The awe-inspiring backdrop of the vineyard, lake, and Kelowna will elevate our hot stone yoga session, promising a truly extraordinary experience. I am thrilled about this upcoming event, meticulously crafted to facilitate relaxation, release, and rejuvenation.
Imagine big, juicy exhales as we melt away the stresses of the day, using hot stones strategically placed on your body during yoga poses to realign your chakras. This blissful event is a fantastic way to calm your nervous system. We'll cap it off with a guided meditation called 'Stress and Release,' recalibrating your entire body. You'll leave feeling lighter, realigned, and at peace.
What is Hot Stone Restorative Yoga? Hot Stone Restorative Yoga is a deeply soothing form of yoga where the body is placed in therapeutic postures, and heated stones are gently placed on the body. The warmth penetrates muscles, melting away physical and emotional tension, resulting in a profound state of relaxation.
What should I wear during a session? Wear whatever makes you comfortable—something warm, cozy, and stretchy is recommended. Bring a blanket, bolster, blocks, or a pillow for ultimate relaxation.
Can someone who has never done yoga do Restorative yoga? Absolutely! No prior experience is needed. Each session features five to six poses held for an extended time, allowing you to fully relax.
What is a Chakra? Chakras are energy centers in the human body that regulate various processes, from organ function to the immune system and emotions. Our session will focus on realigning these energy centers for holistic well-being.
After the class, will will have a mimosa or non-alcoholic beverage whatever you prefer.
We recommend bringing your yoga mat; if needed, mats are available for a $3 rental fee.
Ticket price: $50.00.Simply share your name at the door upon arrival.

MURRAY McLAUCHLAN - The Hourglass TourMurray McLauchlan is one of Canada’s most highly regarded singer/songwriters, and with good cause. Over a 50-year career, he has released 20 albums and been awarded 11 Junos. His songs Farmer’s Song, Down by the Henry Moore, Whispering Rain and Sweeping the Spotlight Away are now considered Canadian standards. Murray is also a painter, an author, an actor, a radio host; he's been bestowed an Honourary Doctor of Laws and appointed to The Order of Canada. That’s quite a ride. For many years Murray’s touring had been restricted to Lunch At Allen's, whose members also include Ian Thomas, Marc Jordan and Cindy Church. But with the release of his critically acclaimed Hourglass, he’s back on the road treating concert goers to a seamless blend of old and new.
Here’s what he has to say: "As a songwriter I know that it's not enough to sit in your kitchen and write. Your songs need to be heard. Music is a communicative art and if it isn't brought in front of people there is no way to tell if that end has been met. I like to think of a concert tour as a kind of roving gallery to test your art and your ideas. I try to do my very best to make it worthwhile for folks to be there and to perhaps look at things in a new way when they leave."
And this, in a nutshell, is the Murray McLauchlan concert experience.Reserved seating tickets for Murray McLauchlan ...Hourglass are $67.50 (tax & facility fees included, additional surcharges may apply), and are available from the box offices listed below. Côté Danse makes its hotly anticipated Vancouver debut with the presentation of its virtuosic new work X (Dix), on stage March 22 and 23, 2024 at 8pm, at the Vancouver Playhouse - presented by DanceHouse. Choreographed by Guillaume Côté, the company’s Artistic Director and internationally-celebrated Principal Dancer with The National Ballet of Canada, the strikingly beautiful work, performed by five dancers, is a potent exploration of home as a grounding force. Inspired by the mythical Odysseus, X (Dix) makes remarkable use of the foundational materials of storytelling, employing archetypal ideas – from the hero’s journey to the role of home – to create new narratives of life’s journey and the elemental forces of leaving and returning. We have a limited number of spots available in our RV park for summer residents and possibly year-round.
Before you contact us, please read all of this ad carefully.
This is an older adult park. We have no infrastructure for children. There is no playground and no facilities nearby.
This is a quiet adult park that is relaxing, cordial, and free of drama. If you have a lot of visitors and get togethers, this is not the park for you.
Spots are 30amp with water, sewer, and electric (which is metered).
You must be self-contained and use your own toilet and shower. Our facilities are mainly for nightly guests and emergencies in your trailer plumbing. You must have a screw on sewer inlet, not just the type that sit on the sewer.
You must have a newer unit that is visually acceptable.
If you are looking for a nice, clean spot to come on the weekends or stay during the summer, you can park your RV for the summer and pay the monthly rate plus your electric (May 1 to September 30) and then move your RV back home in the fall.
If you are looking for a year-round spot, then we will need to have a longer conversation and get to know each other to ensure you are a fit for our park.
If you have questions, please reach out.
The name of the park is unimportant at this time as is the exact location. We are in the Keremeos area, near the river.
If you are interested in coming in next summer or for year-round, please tell us a little bit about you and your situation.
Thanks!

Dear community,
I’m Sabrin, and I’m writing to you with a heavy heart. The weight of desperation and sadness is overwhelming as I face the possibility of homelessness with my eight-month-old daughter. Since becoming a mother, I’ve worked tirelessly, juggling two jobs just to provide a roof over our heads. But despite my efforts, life keeps throwing challenges our way.
My daughter’s needs, especially her expensive enfamil formula, strain my already tight budget. And our landlord seems to always find reasons to raise the rent, pushing us further into financial trouble. The dream I once had of a stable life for us is fading as debt piles up from rent, childcare, and baby essentials.https://gofund.me/4bf41cbb
