The Netherland dwarf is one of the smallest breeds and 1.5 to 3 lbs on average. Is has a short, cobby body, rounded head and short ears. The lionhead is a dwarf rabbit with a long mane around its neck and some longer fur on its rump, resembling a lion.
We show our rabbits at ARBA ( American Rabbit Breeder Association) shows. We were the only breeder of purebred Netherland dwarfs, Holland lops, mini rex, and lionheads to fly from Quebec or Ontario to Reno, Nevada last year, to show rabbits at the ARBA Annual Convention and our Netherland dwarfs won in their classes!
All our rabbits are lovingly raised in our home with 4 kids, cat, and dog, and are handled daily which allows them to be socialized and used to household noises. Our rabbits are all friendly and are litter- trained or started litter -training. They are dewormed, treated for fleas, ticks, and mites and get a preventative treatment for coccidiosis.
Prices start at 100 for babies and up, depending on the breed and color. Some adults available from 50.
Please do NOT buy a bunny impulsively. A bunny is 8 to 12 years of responsibility. It is a loving, sentient creature and is not for you to dispose after your child(ren) get bored of it. We always take our bunnies back if you can no longer keep them. (Conditions apply).

Lavender Meadows Hamstery is an ethical hamstery in Richmond, BC breeding Syrian hamsters to better their temperament, health, and physical type. We’re excited to announce that we offer live shipping across Canada. Of course, adopters will be vetted carefully and will be required to fill out an application. Please read this description to learn more about us! Shipping of the hamster will cost between 30-100 CAD depending on where you are in Canada. Most provinces cost $60.
We work specifically with rex hamsters and long haireds, in the colors of chocolate, rust, black, golden, yellow, and silver grey, and will be working with extreme dilute (import from US in May 2024) and polywhite rex (import from China in June 2024).
Our global waitlist is open to all hamster lovers in Canada. We do have strict expectations for hamster care though. Our hamsters are known for their chunky self (they hit 200g+ plus), and sassy, unique, and calm personalities.
We run off of a waitlist. Baby hamsters will be chosen at 4 weeks old and then at 6-8 weeks old will be able to go to their new homes. Our hamsters eat seed mix and lab blocks but also tons of human-grade foods including chicken, salmon, tuna, shrimp, kale, cucumber, carrots, and cabbage. Our hamsters have a drastic difference from those in pet stores because of their natural good temperament and their physical body type (bigger and broader face). We differ from pet stores because our hamsters are not from rodent mills and are not bred for profit. Our adopters have expressed great joy in the friendliness and longevity of our pups in contrast to pet store hamsters. We run off of a waitlist where the wait time is 2-5 months to ensure proper breeding practice. We breed very selectively to produce the best quality Syrian hamsters that have a friendly, gentle, and natural kind temperament along with an improving lifespan (3+ years). 3 hours daily is spent socializing and caring for adults and babies from 14 days old onwards. All babies have been socialized with kids and people profusely. If you’re looking for hamsters that have been specifically bred for temperament and health, please reach out to us! Hamsters in the pet store are bred for quantity by rodent mills to make a profit. Mills maximize profits by using the smallest possible cages and cheapest supplies/food, thereby disregarding the well-being of hamsters. Mother hamsters are bred until they can’t be bred and then disposed of.

We do have high expectations for hamster care but no experience is required to adopt, only an open mindset!

Hamsters in the pet store are bred for quantity by rodent mills to make a profit. Mills maximize profits by using the smallest possible cages and cheapest supplies/food, thereby disregarding the well-being of hamsters. We work specifically with rex, long and short hairs, in the colours of chocolate, rust, black, golden, yellow, and silver grey. We also work with polywhite/banded patterns.

He's been hand tamed since birth, both his mom and dad are very cuddly. Mom is a short haired dark chocolate, and dad is a long haired black dominant spot. They're both het ruby eyed, decendents of hammies imported from Korea. This is my 7th generation, they don't have pedigree as it wasn't available at the time in Korea when I got my first hammies. They are not line bred or in bred, super friendly and healthy, and have a lifespan of 3~5 years.
Ruby eyed Syrians are one of the rarest morphs of syrian hamsters that exist. I have never seen one in canada, and there are only a few of them in Korea, Japan and some other countries. This is not albinism, no health defects related.
I will not answer careless inquiries that the answers already are in this ad, or questions asking if he's available. I will put the ad down once he's adopted.
When inquiring, please show respect, and tell me about yourself, experiences with hammies, what kind of setting you have for them and why you want to adopt one of my babies.

2 year old Holland Lop, male, neutered. He was bonded to another bunny of mine that passed recently. He does not seem depressed, but he's been hiding more and more these days because my kitten always wants to play with him. I know he is not in pain because he still comes out for treats, and at night when I visit him alone in his play area. He's very chill, would not leave his play area because he does not like hardwood floors and prefers to walk on rugs or mats instead. Can come with a big bin of hay, some treats, and his modified litterbox.
I'm not really wanting to give him away because we all love him, but I feel he is not living his best life. So I will be asking some questions if you are interested in taking him.
