Re: Don't camp in The District Kent-Agassiz BC
The mayor thinks it's more important to waste tax payers dollars putting up No RV overnight parking signs, plus 2 hour parking signs in an industrial park. The mayor didn't know or talk to any of the business/property owners. All have my phone number to call in case of emergencies.
The mayor doesn't like looking at my RV from 500' (150 meters) to 700' (213 meters) down the road from where she walks.
District of Kent/Agassiz, BC is supposed to be a tourist town.
I am in the District of Kent-Agassiz BC having my RV worked on by a local Agassiz garage who has done all my vehicles maintenance for over a decade. I also have a home!
How does harassing someone who has 30 years experience enforcing the law help the residents, businesses, tourism or community?
Maybe this wasted money could go to adding additional police, mental health services, charity or homeless programs, which will help clean up the community!
I lived and paid taxes in the District of Kent/Agassiz for 10 years and supported the Agassiz community for over 30 years. I still support over 15 different businesses in the community.
Some of the businesses in the community have informed me that they feel their community is a safer place with me around.
The mayor herself shops in Chilliwack to save money and doesn't support her own community of small businesses because they are too expensive.
The harassment, threats and lies the District of Kent employees and mayor have said about me is pathetic, unprofessional and are not warranted.
Help spread the word, it could be a review in the District of Kent Google reviews section, repost on Facebook, Instagram, other social media platforms. Anything you can do is appreciated!

Welcome to Turtle Bay Cabin! A private boat in residence Just 20 minutes from the Manitoba/Ontario Boarder Turtle bay is a peaceful and quaint island getaway located on in the Clearwater Bay District on the renowned waters of Ontario’s breathtaking Lake of The Woods. The location is ideal and one of a kind in the fact that you are minutes by boat from the Clearwater bay government landing and in the heart of world class fishing of all species of fish. The property location is facing south west, and Turtle Bay itself is 1 mile long by 1/2 mile wide. There are 6 private residences in the bay with our own personal cabin located on the adjacent property to Turtle Bay vacation rental. The Rental cabin can comfortably host a maximum of 4 adults or 6 guests including children and is optimal for a family or small group of avid fisherman looking for an idealistic retreat to relax after a great day navigating the waters of LOTW. The Camp sits on one acre of land with 180' of prime water frontage with a combination of both rock and sand beach. Depending on annual water levels there is a seasonal average of 6' at the end of the dock. Two Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP), as well as a pedal boat and canoe are available for guest use. The island property is over 3 square miles with a handful of hiking trails beginning footsteps from the Camp doorway. The Camp was completely renovated as an open concept build in 2020 with 1300 sq feet of comfortable modern living space. There are 3 bedrooms, master with king bed, second room with queen bed, and a bunk room with a single over double (bunk bed) . There are 2 bathrooms, Great/Living room, fully stocked essentials kitchen and laundry room. Outdoor amenities include outdoor shower nestled in the forest (Described as the shower Oasis by our guests) as well as an outdoor Biffy/Outhouse. Guests must rent a boat or have their own boat for the duration of their stay to get too and from the camp. Turtle Bay Camp Rental Rates:

This is our special place where our family continues to build memories year-round, but when we’re not there we are happy to share it with others who would like to experience the beauty of Mazinaw Lake.There are 3 bedrooms: two with queen beds, and one with a single-over-queen bunk. We also have a spare single mattress and a spare crib mattress that can be put on the floor (we find those useful for kids who want to sleep in parents’ rooms).
