Looking for a Licenced Mechanic or 3rd year apprentice

Job Summary
We are seeking a Licenced Automotive Technician or Experienced 3rd year apprentice to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of vehicles and machinery. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a wide range of mechanical and electrical skills to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. Must have a valid drivers licence and have your own tools and tool box. Hours are Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm.
Duties
Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical components, etc
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues
Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for accurate repairs
Conduct welding or fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or modifications
Assist in the assembly or installation of new equipment or parts
Skills
Proven experience in automotive repair
Mechanical knowledge across various systems including HVAC, electrical, and engine diagnostics
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
Strong troubleshooting skills
Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks safely
Welding or fabrication skills are a plus
Previous mechanic experience with a focus on maintenance and repair of diverse vehicle types
