This will be our 13th Canada Day yard sale. In the past several years we have been inviting quality vendors to join us at our weekend sale and this year, we hope to have our biggest and best sale yet!
With a focus on gas/oil collectibles, advertising, soda, vintage toys, etc, you can also expect to find tools, antiques, collectibles, new old stock items, home decor/repair and gardening items. There is also a 30x60 foot barn full of items including a section with Crystals, fossils and megalodon teeth!
We are looking for a few more quality vendors so please don't hesitate to contact us, but please understand that space is limited so we reserve the right to be selective of the right vendors for the event.
Vendor fee is $25 for Saturday and also Sunday.
This small fee is payable by e-transfer upon acceptance and non-refundable except in the case of a weather event in which the sale is not possible.
WE ENCOURAGE OTHER NORTH RIVER RESIDENTS TO SET UP AT THEIR OWN SPOTS AS WELL ON THIS WEEKEND.. THE TRAFFIC IS GREAT!!!!

Raised in the wilds of Vancouver Island, 26-year-old Elysia Biro (pronounced Eh-lee-sha Bee-row) is a technically gifted singer, songwriter, and pianist. A student of classical piano at age 4, Biro began writing her own music at 13 while teaching herself how to play jazz by ear after being inspired by the genre’s improvisational free form. After receiving her diploma in classical piano from the Royal Conservatory of Toronto and graduating high school at age 16, Biro earned her Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies for piano and voice before moving to England to complete her Master’s of Music degree at the University of York.
Crafting her unique sound from an expansive fusion of genres, Elysia Biro’s songwriting blends modern pop form and classical technique with jazz sensibilities. An expressive and introspective songwriter, her warm, soulful vocals reflect her journey through self-discovery, love, and introspection, painting a compelling portrait of life as she knows it right now, blossoming between seasons. Biro has quickly amassed a dedicated audience on social media through her captivating vocals and virtuosic transcriptions of jazz solos. Texas-based five-time GRAMMY-winning guitarist, composer, producer, and instructor Mark Lettieri is one of modern groove music’s defining voices. Best known as a longtime member of the genre-blurring collective Snarky Puppy, as well as a founding member of The Fearless Flyers alongside Cory Wong, Lettieri has built an international reputation as a session musician proficient in a multitude of styles. He has recorded and performed in virtually every genre of popular music with both independent and major-label artists, ranging from Erykah Badu to David Crosby. With the Mark Lettieri Group, he channels instrumental funk, jazz fusion, and R&B into tightly arranged, groove-forward compositions reminiscent of The Meters, John Scofield, and Herbie Hancock’s Headhunters era. The group’s latest album, Can I Tell You Something? (2023), released on GroundUP Music, continues a solo catalog alongside dozens of collaborative recordings. Although he has toured Canada extensively, this marks his long-anticipated TD Victoria International JazzFest debut as a bandleader. Guitarists, groove enthusiasts, and fusion fans alike should secure tickets early. This will be one of the festival’s most rhythmically explosive nights.

The new all-star trio of premier banjoist Béla Fleck, harpist Edmar Castañeda, and drummer Antonio Sánchez features instrumentation that one might call unusual, unless you’re familiar with 19-time GRAMMY winner and 39-time nominee Fleck: the genre-blurring virtuoso who has expanded the possibilities of the banjo more than anyone in history. From his bluegrass beginnings through the Flecktones, his duo with Chick Corea, and his reimagining of Rhapsody in Blue, Fleck never fails to surprise. What doesn’t surprise is the impeccable caliber of his collaborators – including two of the most gifted musicians of their generation. Colombia’s harpist Edmar Castañeda has shared projects with such masters as Hiromi, Paquito D’Rivera, and Grégoire Maret.
