***Since there's been some confusion there is a chance you will get a purebred Maran or Wyandotte but they are all kept together at this time therefore they are sold as a backyard mix and there is no guarantees on the breed you will receive***
The roosters are Maran, Brahma, Appenzeller Spitzhauben, and gold laced Wyandotte.

I have a beautiful Jersey/Guernsey cross heifer for sale. The Jersey/Guernsey cross is an excellent cross! They are quiet like the Guernsey and very easy milkers. She should have have nice teat length as I select for that when I select A.I. bulls. She will be ready to breed this spring. She is A1A2 and will have decent protein in her milk for cheese making. Just selling a few of my good ewes because I sadly lost one of my guardian dogs, so I reduce the flock a bit.
Not culls. These are good solid sheep that have done well on a rotational, multi species grazing, fully forage based system.
No grain, no vaccines, no worming, And they produce good solid lambs that do well, even on moist valley, bottom, flood plane pasture.
Some have been hand milked for dairy for our home.
I don’t coddle my sheep.
If they don’t do well, I don’t keep them,
and I don’t keep their daughters either.
So these are all descendants of the ones that always performed well with minimal input and survived my ruthless selection process.
I haven’t had to assist a birth in years.
They all do it on their own out on the pasture.
They’re used to all other species of livestock, guardian, dogs, and herding dogs.
Mostly North Country Cheviot and Cheviot/Dorset available.
All bred to one a Horned Dorset, and a 3/4 Dorset, 1/4 Rambouillet rams for lambing starting in May.
Selling up to 10 ewes from this bunch.

Nice little pure Highland yearling heifer for sale. Comes from a good line of good stock. All of her ancestors did exactly what Highlands are meant to do. Thrived on poor footage, stayed out on pasture into January and always had super hardy vigourous calves.
I would expect the same for her.
A long life of good productivity with minimal inputs. She’s just a bit flighty, which is totally curable with time and attention. Both of your parents were super quiet
But because the rest of my cattle are larger breeds, she’s at the bottom of the pecking order, which doesn’t help her confidence.
Also, I move my cattle away from the home farm frequently, walking them on roads, public trails, and loading them out of various locations and trucking them to various grazing leases. Because she’s a bit shy and also intimidated by the bigger cows, she doesn’t like to go into the corral for loading. But for someone who keeps their animals on the same farm year-round, she would be great!

When buying alpacas there are a few important things to keep in mind.
1) Alpacas are herd animals, you must have at least three of the same sex, four is better. They are not meant to be companions to other livestock. They are not pets.
2) Male alpacas should not be kept in the same pasture as females. Males will often try to continually breed the female which can result in uterine infections and stress.
3) You should never have just one alpaca.
4) Crias (baby alpacas) should not be sold without their mother before the age of 6 months, they should be sold with another alpaca they know. Young males should not be put in with older males until they are mature and physically large enough to defend themselves.
5) Alpacas are not guard animals, llamas are guard animals
6) Alpacas must be sheared every spring, nails trimmed as needed.
It is important to buy from a reputable breeder, someone who has been in the business a while and has taken the time to learn as much as possible about alpacas. We are glad to have you come visit to discuss alpacas before you buy.
