TESTIMONIALS:
"Paul has been my guitar teacher for a couple of years now, he has taught me so much and the best part about it is that he makes it fun. Paul is an amazing guitar teacher, even though I’ve known him for a while now he never stops to amaze me with his musical knowledge and musical ear, I would play the song I want to learn on YouTube or Spotify and next thing you know he’s already playing the first chords without seeing any tabs or even knowing the song beforehand. I’ve had many guitar teacher in my life and trust me on this one, Paul is a gem. Definitely the best guitar teacher I’ve had in my life and I’m proud to be his student." Anatole Bongheat
"Paul is a fantastic, engaging, understanding and motivating teacher. I would highly recommend him for young and old learners." Lina Basset

Classically trained in guitar and music theory, Brian brings both his love of musical refinement like Dream Theater and Steve Vai, and the adolescent speed and fury of Slayer and Slipknot to the table for his band, All is Ashes (listen on iTunes and Spotify).
When he isn’t writing music for All is Ashes, or teaching music theory and guitar, Brian makes his contribution to Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Project as a Gladue Writer.

And when you’re trying to learn on your own, you need an experienced instructor to guide you through the process and watch to make sure you’re playing with the right form and technique.
We have an experienced and motivating group of teachers; we will pair you up with a teacher that you are comfortable with and look forward to learning from. We can also work with your schedule and budget to make sure the lessons are convenient and within your budget.
With online private lessons, we focus on exactly what you’re interested in, and design lessons that suit your ability and learning style. Whether you plan a career in music, or just want to be ready to play your favourite songs around the campfire, we’ve got you covered. You call the shots…and we'll guide you through it.

Born and raised in Toronto, Andy started playing piano at an early age of just 5 years old. He finished his RCM Grade 10 in Classical Piano Performance for the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2012 with First Class Honours, at the age of 14.
Andy also has his Bachelor (BMus) in Jazz Piano Performance at the University of Toronto. At UofT, Andy received the Mamie May Scholarship (renewable for 3 years) and the Jazz Distillery Entrance Scholarship.
As one of North America’s top institutions for Jazz studies, Andy was constantly surrounded by incredibly talented and hardworking colleagues and teachers. Some teachers he has studied with at UofT have included many notable jazz musicians in the Canadian and World Jazz scene including; Steve Wallace (played with Oscar Peterson), and William Carn (Juno Winner).
In addition, he was taught privately by Juno nominated pianist Chris Donnelly for 3 years. His last private piano professor was Noam Lemish, who also happens to be the piano instructor for Nick Nurse, who is the Head Coach of the Toronto Raptors!
As a bandleader and musical collaborator, Andy has performed and recorded for many events and projects.
Over the last 9 years Andy has been sharing his passion of music as a teacher in hopes of enriching other people's lives through music.
Using over 18 years worth of knowledge he’s gained in the classical and jazz scene, Andy is able to provide first class methods of instruction for both classical and jazz. As a certified RCM teacher, you can be rest assured that you’ll be in good hands. He can teach all levels of RCM practical piano, theory, harmony and history.
Many of Andy’s students have gone to win competitions and have scored First Class Honours with Distinction at the RCM seasonal exams. He hosts two semi-annual recitals which allow his students to showcase their progress and achievements.
There are no hidden fess - payments are made on a month to month basis.
Lessons are presented through the online studio or in-person at Andy's studio or your home. Andy's studio also has a professional C. Bechstien piano for his students to use.

I have over 15 years of experience in teaching the piano, as well as graduate-level training in piano performance. I am currently seeking private students for my teaching studio located in downtown St. John's, and I provide online lessons in addition to teaching from home.
I offer piano lessons in Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, as well as Casual categories, and my rate is $30 per half hour, $45 per 45 minutes and $60 hourly.
My lessons with beginners focus on mastering the basics of playing the piano while cultivating foundational skills for musical enjoyment.
In intermediate level lessons, I work with the student to establish effective work habits in order to refine musical skills and go deeper into the music.
Advanced level lessons are all about refining the individual's artistic process with in-depth guidance in the development of one's own musical voice.
Casual lessons have the student engaging with musical fundamentals in a light way in order to maximize one's ability to play pieces on their own terms.
