Hello! I'm Dan and I'm offering online private tutoring for math, physics, chemistry, and statistics; as well as other STEM related topics.
My schedule is flexible, and I do tutoring appointments morning, afternoon, and evening during weekdays, as well as at select times on Sundays. Appointments are generally done one-to-one but I can also make small group meetings work if that would be preferred.
I can help if you're having a hard time understanding a new topic and want it explained in a way that makes sense to you. I am a Master’s graduate in chemical engineering who is offering in-person and/ or virtual tutoring for high school, college, and university students in mathematics, chemistry, physics, and engineering.

I have three types of lessons, Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3.
For Type 1 lessons, you choose the content of each lesson (I can help you choose). The price is $25/hour (student) or $30 (regular). Most of my students only need Type 1 lessons to be successful learners.
Type 2 lessons, which I prepare 30 minutes for, are $35/hour (student) or $40 (regular). This price also includes a one-hour lesson, so you get 1.5 hours of my time in total.
Type 3 lessons, which I prepare one hour for, are $45/hour (student) or $50 (regular). This price includes a one-hour lesson, so you get two hours of my time in total.

I am experienced chemistry tutor with BSc, MSc and PhD degree in organic chemistry 20 years of credible experience in teaching/tutoring at university level with an excellent record of success from my current and previous students.
I tutored more than 400 students in metro Vancouver and across Canada in person or online.
My teaching/tutoring includes explanation and elaboration of course concepts in deep in order that student understands the course concepts properly, providing a study plan for each student according to student background, providing extra practice problems for course to student (PDF files) for continuous practice, working with student on problems such as class assignments, online assignments, midterms and finals from recent years, (2010 t0 2024)
My teaching/tutoring covers general, organic, inorganic, organometallic, physical, analytical, engineering chemistry, life science chemistry, MCAT chemistry preparation (DAT, PCAT, OAT).
