5 year old Pony, 2 months of training at 3 yrs old. Is my 9 year olds pony- this pony is NOT for beginners. She has no mean bone in her body, is exceptionally good for children to handle, but she is a very forward hot little mare, loves to go and cover ground! Ive hopped on her (5’2) and she can pack me around like nothing! She is fast on her feet, likes to move out. She enjoys trails, lives with cows, good in a herd. Can be spooky the first few rides out of the summer, but no buck or bolt/rear. Great with saddling ect A bit of a looky lou at things. Good with feet, tieing and trailering. Great little mare for a step up pony, my daughter is close to outgrowing her. Looking for a sale or open to a trade to a larger horse or pony. Can be ridden in a snaffle or bosal
Great strong feet, sound. Ready to go!

Team of Belgian mares
16,17 years old. Sisters from Prins View Belgians. Approx 2000lbs each standing at 18hh
Previously Used for feeding, sleigh rides, hook up to the Forecart and harrow or farm, used for weddings and parades, used for lessons. Can ride or drive in snaffles.
Have each foaled in the past.We have owned them two years and have used them for feeding cows. We had a herd dispersal though and haven’t used them to feed with this winter.
We have wavered on selling them as we enjoy them when we do get to use them but that doesn’t seem to happen and they are a very nice, easy to get along with team.
Good with other horses big or small, very kind girls.
$7000 will only sell together as a team.

Traditional Horsehair Mecates made right here in the Caribou!!
These Mecates are made from 100% natural horsehair and each one is a one of a kind, hand made rope. Each rope is unique and has a special feel of its own. These are four strand Mecates and do not have a core for a lighter/softer feel.
Mecates are traditionally paired with a bosal to create a hackamore-used in the first steps of creating the traditional bridle horse. Or they can be paired with a set of slobber straps and attached to a snaffle bit.For sale currently
- a grey, black and brown with white fleck pictured in photo #3 & 4. This is a 5/8 rope, 24 feet long. $325
- a flaxen, sorrel and white with brown fleck pictured in photos #5 & 6. This is a 5/8 rope, 20 feet long. $375.I can discuss custom work-but wait times will be dictated by the cows and calving!! Depending on availability of hair color, I can usually get one finished within a week or so. I will also have split reins and more get down lines available in the future.
Prices are dictated due to availability of hair color and by size of rope.

We are located on a beautiful 10 acre property near Hope BC where we raise pedigreed African Pygmy Hedgehogs and registered Angus cattle. Animals have been a lifetime passion for us, raising registered cattle in Alberta for most of our marriage. We are now in our 70’s so have downsized a bit. The babies pictured are ready to go soon and we generally have new litters ready to go every month. We do maintain a waiting list, a deposit is required, giving people on the list first choice at new litters. Once the waiting list has selected the remaining babies are posted on Facebook, Instagram and on Kijiji. We encourage you to look us up on Facebook and Instagram to see some of our past babies. Our babies come with a food sample, cuddle sack, birth certificate and health guarantee covering any genetic conditions.
