Hi, I am Sheila from Sherwood Park, Alberta and I am looking for an experienced (minimum 1 year), fun loving, and reliable nanny to join my family. I need someone who is immediately available to care for my two adventurous children, one who is currently attending primary school, and a second child who is currently in a day care centre but would be joining her brother at home once we find a suitable candidate.I am offering a full time (or part time to start), live-out position on a long term basis. I will pay $20-25 per hour for your services based on experience and training. My son requires extra care and attention as he has ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). He is an energetic, high functioning, intelligent, independent, outgoing and creative little boy who would benefit from a care provider who has knowledge and experience working with children with special needs/neuro divergence/neuro developmental disorders.I would not expect more than basic food preparation (my kids enjoy simple meals and have no allergies) and basic tidying up (dish washing - we both have a dishwasher, wiping down countertops, and vacuuming of the main floor- I have a cordless vacuum and their Dad has a built-in) as part of the position. I'd like to find a provider who meets my children's basic needs and engages them in interactive, simple adventures (inside and outside the home). We're an active/outdoorsy family who believes in free play and exploring the beauty of our neighborhood/backyard. There is no expectation to transport the children anywhere by vehicle as there are many playgrounds/paths/pool/trails/natural spots/wide open fields within walking/biking/scootering distance. Housekeeping and errands are NOT required or important!I am a separated parent so care would be divided between two homes (the children's father lives nearby) on a Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm schedule. We have a friendly, cooperative and collaborative co-parenting relationship and would introduce you to both homes as part of the interview process. We both work full-time and share our time equally with our children on a 2 day/2 day/3 day schedule. Our interview process would include an in-person meeting, followed by a tour of both homes followed by an introduction to our two lovely and lively children. If you have a passion for children, experience caring for children with special needs (or willingness to pursue education related to neuro developmental disorders), and would love to join a warm, kind and friendly family, please message me. I very much look forward to hearing from you. Please visit https://canadiannanny.ca/jobs/sherwood-park-family-seeking-experienced-nanny-15hr-alberta-canadian-job-ab-1 to view full details and to apply.
