Cette formation constitue la première étape de progression officielle en canot selon le programme de Canot Kayak Québec (CQK). Elle s’adresse à toute personne souhaitant acquérir des bases solides pour naviguer de façon sécuritaire et efficace en eau calme, tant à l’avant qu’à l’arrière du canot.
Ce que tu apprendras dans ce cours de canot :
Au cours de cette journée complète, tu apprendras les techniques fondamentales de pagaie : avancer en ligne droite, tourner, pivoter, arrêter rapidement et déplacer ton embarcation avec précision. La formation aborde également les règles de sécurité essentielles, le transport et la manipulation du canot, ainsi que les techniques de récupération et de sauvetage en cas de chavirement.
Tu te familiariseras avec les différentes parties du canot, l’équipement réglementaire, le choix du VFI et les bonnes pratiques pour pagayer de manière responsable. Les principes du programme Sans trace Canada seront aussi intégrés afin de minimiser ton impact sur l’environnement naturel.
Une formation complète et accessible qui te permettra de gagner confiance, autonomie et efficacité sur l’eau, tout en développant de bonnes habitudes dès le départ.
Idéal pour les débutant·es, les futur·es pagayeurs autonomes ou toute personne souhaitant obtenir un brevet reconnu.

Ce cours est une introduction complète au plaisir de la planche à pagaie (SUP) en eau calme. Tu y apprendras les origines de ce sport accessible et apaisant, le fonctionnement de l’équipement, les règles de sécurité à respecter ainsi que les techniques de base pour te déplacer efficacement sur l’eau.
On explorera différentes façons de pagayer debout, à genoux ou assis, tout en jouant avec ton équilibre à travers quelques exercices amusants. Le tout se déroule dans un décor naturel inspirant, idéal pour prendre confiance et apprécier la tranquillité de la rivière. Un moment parfait pour t’initier en douceur, reconnecter avec ton corps et profiter de la beauté de la Petite-Nation.
