If you are going on vacation, away on business or needing to board your pet for an extended stay, and are looking for a safe, comfortable place for your fur baby(s) where they will not be confined to a cage, you have found it.
$20.00 per night for one cat, $5.00 per night for each additional cat, provided your cats are all boarded in the same room. Drop off and pick up between 6am - 6pm, with flexibility.I have loved, owned, pampered and fostered cats for many years and have dealt with pregnant, newborns, feral, sick and injured cats. I am retired and will have the time to spend with your pet to make it feel comfortable, safe and loved. My home is clean, quiet, smoke free and there are no children or dogs here.
Your cat will have their own room with a window view, places to curl up and a heating pad. The room is cleaned daily, and the litter box is scooped out twice a day. Temperature is comfortable year-round. I have a barrier I can put over the door to their room, once they are settled, so that they can look out and see what's going on in the house. NOTE: The cats in the photos all live here. Cats boarding here from the same family are kept in their own room.IMPORTANT - I do not take in cats older than six months, that have not been spayed/neutered, as it can be very disruptive to the other cats in my home.
Please bring your cat's litter and food. A change in litter, along with being in a new place, can be very stressful for your pet. Also, bring special items such as a toy, blanket, bed, or even a piece of your worn clothing. It will provide your pet with comforting and familiar scents from home. No need to bring the litter box or food/water dishes, unless you prefer to. =^..^=
You will be requested to complete a form prior to boarding.
References are available upon request.
A donation to H.A.R.T. Cat Sanctuary and Rescue will be made with every stay. =^..^=

Taking orders for spring, 2024
(Owing to high demand and difficulty hatching, this ad had to be adjusted. For those who did not hear back, read below and reach out again if still interested. First come, first served! They are not sexed.).The most expensive chicken in the world! The Ayam Cemani is a rare breed of chicken from Indonesia. They have a dominant gene that causes hyperpigmentation (fibromelanosis), making the chicken black, to the bone - including feathers, beak, and internal organs.
They say these are the Lamborghini of chickens, they are rare, beautiful, mysterious and were actually regarded as a sacred bird in Java where they originate from.
These beautifully inky black chickens have black feathers, wattles, eyes, comb, beak and legs. They hold themselves in such a way that a person can actually become quite mesmerized by this really unique bird.
Other very unique things about this chicken breed are that it is not only its outer appearance that is completely black! Its meat, organs, skin and even its bones are black. The only thing that is not truly black (although it is very dark) is its blood. As such it was also a very popular bird for various rituals.
Today this breed is very rare and if you can get them there is usually a waiting list for up to a year in advance for them. They can also fetch a price of $2500 each, that is $5000 for a pair of them!
$55/chick. This is much cheaper than what we bought them for.
Price not negotiable. Will hold on a first-come first-served. Pickup is in Halifax (near Armdale rotary)
High quality pure-bred (you get what you pay for)
Parents bought from breeders: https://www.gradeehfarms.ca/
(cost of each chick + transportation cost by air = nearly $100/chick + risk of death in flight)https://domesticanimalbreeds.com/ayam-cemani-chicken-breed-everything-you-need-to-know/
