Great resort town of Huntsville only 20 minutes away. There are several golf courses in the area including Huntsville Downs. Our favourite Provincial Park is just minutes away - Arrowhead Park, with lovely walks to the small falls and so many great hiking trails! Algonquin Park is close enough to enjoy day tours, you can rent a canoe there and picnic among the trees made famous by the Group of Seven. For a night-on-the-town with dinner and entertainment, Deerhurst Inn and good restaurants are within 1/2 hour of the cottage. There is an excellent Tourist Info Centre about 4km north of Novar on Hwy #11 with helpful staff and lots of brochures detailing interesting places to go as well as upcoming events in and around the area. There are lots of antique shops, artist studios and galleries, first rate music festivals ranging from jazz to opera..... Huntsville has lots of shopping options, from major chains to specialty and organic. If you need more local shopping, Hope’s Clover Farm is only 8 minutes away with groceries, LCBO and a gas station.

I have a lower suite in a big cabin located under the Huckleberry Chairlift at Castle Mountain. The closest town is Pincher Creek. This ski hill is a very good all round ski hill with something for everybody. The place I have is 1000 square feet with 3 big bedrooms and a nice bathroom with a shower. The rental includes the use of the hot tub off of the upper suite. I use the whole cabin almost every other weekend but there is still days available. I rent the place out by the day weekend or week. It starts at $250 per night in Season and cheaper in the off season(Summer). Everything is there for you to enjoy your holiday. Barbeque and spices, silverware etc. The only catch is you have to leave it clean and ready for the next renter. There is no cleaning crew.

L’ensemble forme une vaste pièce de vie de 200m² ! Toujours à cet étage, et bénéficiant de cette même splendide vue, se trouvent de part et d’autre de l’espace de vie, deux belles chambres avec chacune une salle d’eau privative avec wc, ainsi qu’une buanderie, un cellier et de nombreux rangements.
Le dernier étage dispose, quant à lui, d’une spacieuse suite parentale de 38 m² composée d’une chambre, d’un salon avec canapé convertible, d’une grande salle d’eau, de wc séparés et d’une terrasse de 28m² depuis laquelle vous pourrez admirer une très belle vue sur la mer, le village et les mornes. La sixième chambre, sur ce même étage, côté jardin, est équipée de deux lits simples à baldaquins, d’une salle d’eau attenante avec wc.
À l’extérieur, un jardin tropical, avec de belles essences (palmiers royaux, tiarés, ylang ylang, bougainvilliers, frangipanier, citronniers, oiseaux de paradis, manguier, fruit du dragon….), une piscine à débordement (couloir de nage 12m x 2,5m) et différentes terrasses aménagées vous permettront de profiter agréablement du soleil des Antilles !
L’accès aux deux emplacements de stationnement situés sous la villa est assez pentu (comme souvent en Martinique !) et nécessite de disposer d’un véhicule de type SUV ou, pour le moins, d’un véhicule qui ne soit pas rabaissé. Il y a également la possibilité de vous garer gratuitement dans la rue avec plusieurs places disponibles devant la villa.
