We purchased a 122 acre cut-block above McKean Rd in 2021 and paid a bit too much because interest rates were low then and someone told us that real estate only appreciates. We paid. $310,000 (see attached BC Assessment)
Our solution is to sell you a 1/4 share of the cut block for $200,000. Yes, it is more than half of what we paid, but real estate only goes up!

Somebody who works in the visual dimension makes the most sense for this, since sound bleed would be an issue otherwise. Rent for both spaces would be $1150 (utilities included, except internet).
This home is near mountain station, <10 mins walk to Baker, has lots of sunlight in the living room and kitchen (with beautiful views of the lake/river), has a yard with beds for gardening, and has a big garage that can also be turned into a creative zone of sorts. It's cat friendly if you have a little one (not dog friendly), and there's a space in front of the garage for parking a vehicle off the street.
