I'm a 36 year old bassist looking for a drummer located on the eastern shore. I'm not far from the library in Musquodoboit Harbour, and I'd like to keep it local-ish...say between Lake Charlotte and Porter's Lake. I get burnt out driving to town for music!
I'd like to write some heavier music for bass and drums, maybe do a little yelling/singing. If you can sing too, that's great! I'm mostly just looking to fart around and have some fun, maybe gig eventually. Could be the move, I don't know.
I have lots of experience, a wide range of musical interests, and some pretty cool gear. Give me a reason to haul my big amp out of the house lol.

Hey all. 45 year old guitarist here. Though I spent the last couple years fronting a band as well. We had quite a good setlist in place, but life happens I guess.
Ideally, we'd have a couple cats comfortable with vox, backing at least. Another guitarist. Bassist, Drummer, and who wouldn't love a keys hand in there as well?? Haha
I'm in the Bayers Lake area, but I've got transportation. I can travel within reason.
No, there's no dedicated jam spot, no I don't have a PA. We can work that out when the time comes.
I've got a list compiled, & of course, we can always add to that as we go.
I've got a way from A to B, pro gear, good attitude, some "sloppy" but seasoned Joe Perry-esque style, and the want to play in front of people.
And no, not 6 nights a week haha but maybe frequently if the opportunity presents itself?

Hi there, I'm a 29 year old musician and I'm searching for like-minded individuals to make music with. I typically play stuff like indie rock, pop-punk, alternative rock, etc. Not really into classic rock or "dad rock", but I'm pretty open to any other genres. A few of my main songwriting influences are Jimmy Eat World, The Cure, The Killers, Blink-182, My Bloody Valentine, Modern Baseball, and Radiohead.
I just moved here from Ottawa, ON where I was the vocalist/guitarist in an indie rock band, where we gigged, released albums, the whole shtick. I have some solid songwriting experience (10ish years) from previous projects, but I'm just as happy to operate more in a supporting role.
I also have some decent recording/production experience; I produced all the music from my old band and I think it turned out alright. I have a basic recording rig here in Halifax and am always down to track some music.
