This near-original 1967 Thunderbird has been in a private collection for the past 10+ years with minimal summer use. Originally an Ontario car, it spent many years in the second owner's collection in British Columbia before being returned to Ontario in 2013.

Interior is a combination of vinyl upholstery with a cloth centre section for the cushions. Floor is dark beige carpet.
The chrome and brushed aluminum in the interior remains in excellent condition. The roof (interior) has a centre console with indicator lights. The rear 'parcel shelf' is in very clean condition.
The centre console is vinyl-covered with chrome/aluminum trim that goes all the way to the rear seat and is in extremely good condition.
All controls knobs and levers are in near-new condition. The glove box door in brushed aluminum is in excellent condition. Both sun visors are in good condition. The swing-a-way steering column is also in working condition.
The trunk interior is original and shows minimal signs of use. Spare tire is believed to be the original, factory-delivered spare; never been used.
Under hood trim pad is original and in very good condition.
Some exterior chrome and aluminum showing signs of age but still in very good condition.
The engine bay is clean.
The low-mileage car is in pretty much corrosion-free condition and needs a new home with someone who will appreciate and properly care for it.Driver's front fender was repaired some years ago and now showing signs of finish deterioration.
Cloth interior showing some signs of staining but no rips or tears. One power window has stopped working and I have not investigated the cause yet.
Functional sequential turn signals and headlight doors.
New fuel line, transmission filter and fluid October 2022.

Been in storage for last 10 years
This car is as original as can be. It has not been altered or modified in any way.
Original 2.5L 4 cyl engine runs very well. Trans shifts and operates as it should.
Recently replaced sunroof seals and tracks. Weatherstripping in both doors. Rebuilt headlight motors.
Interior is very decent except for some minor plastic pieces. No rips or tears in seats.
New headliner installed.
Needs AC compressor replaced, new battery and a good general going over.
I originally bought the car with intentions to modify into a Lamborghini or Ferrari kit.

It’s a nice driver but it’s not perfect. The paint is good but a few scratches and dings. Also some bondo in rockers and rear valance panel. The car also had wiring completely redone from front to back with American Autowire. It got a 350 for an engine and th350 for transmission and black interior. $23,000 or o.b.o. Mildly updated for 1956, the full-size Ford passenger-car lines were extremely popular and successful in the face of Chevrolet’s massive market attack of 1955 and continued pressure from the various other GM divisions. This truck was used as a cattle truck. Box still rises like a dump truck. Because it was a commercial vehicle, it was inspected every year. Parked 3yrs ago and before that, it had $5000 worth of brake work, new clutch. 5 speed manual, two speed rear end. Engine is either a 360 V8 or 390 V8 that has been rebuilt by previous owner. Truck runs and drives, there is a leak on driver side break line and brake booster is not working, can be driven forward and reverse on flat ground to see that it does drive. Bought in Kansas, been in Ontario at least 30 years with good Ontario ownership in my name. A few small rust areas but mostly a really solid 77 year old car. This is a MODIFIED CAR, if you are looking for one to restore to original look elsewhere. Has a Camaro subframe and 10 bolt rear end, 455 Buick engine and turbo 400 transmission. The top frame has been restored and there is a black cloth top included, most of the chrome plating is done so if you know anything about that then you know the associated cost, likely more than what we are asking for the whole car. Door and quarter window glass is new and tinted grey and the frames have been plated.
External sheet metal is pretty straight and solid. The front grill has been restored and is beautiful. All the convertible stuff is there and most of the rest of the parts too. Has seats and door panels from a 47 Cadillac convertible so they are more plush than the Buick if you choose to use them. Will not accept offers over the internet or phone unless they are for more than the asking price. Will not answer stupid questions, "is it still available" etc. Bring your wife, girlfriend if your wife allows it, significant other etc. We hoped to get this one done one day but have too many projects (3 on the go presently) and running out of years so sadly don't think I will ever get to this one. It will make a beautiful modified street rod. Reasonable offers may be considered after you have seen the car. Looking for something pre 64 to tow our travel trailer so might consider a trade. I recently acquired this old RARE gem as part of a job cleaning up an old farm and found this truck in an old drive shed.
I know very little about it since the owners of the property knew nothing.
I did find the CAMPER SPECIAL metal logos, and the vin plate does mention the camper weight. It seems like the truck was right in the middle of a motor upgrade or something.
The wiring harness isn't hooked up.
Dual exhaust is hooked up; 'rad is hooked up, as are most of the vacuum and tranny lines, etc. It looks like the wiring harness needs to be hooked up to the engine, but it's all there. I will eventually get to it, as I am a mechanic, so an old chev small block wiring won't take but an hour tops.
'Plow harness looks complete and has extra hydraulic levers and lines for accessories.
Truck is an automatic; has vacuum hubs not lockers - possibly upgraded, not stock. Has extra leaf springs in rear end. Heavy duty brakes both axles.
Body seems to all be metal . Shame the long scratch down the drivers side. Frame looks to be in great shape as does the floor of the cab.
Seems like this truck was being prepped to be put back on the road. It all seems very sound and well maintained.
Now I see these trucks being priced all over the scale, but rarely see an actual camper special. It comes with both sets of rims you see on it . The 20's and the stock 15's
So for now I'm going to see if there's any serious offers. I'm not going to accept 2500 bucks or something ridiculous like that but I'm also not looking for 10 grand.

Please don't message me asking how it runs or the condition of the tranny it will just tell me that you didn't read or understand the add and your wasting both our time. I will get around to hooking up the engine harness but that will obviously help set the price firm. As I said the truck looks like it was destin for the road in real short order before I bought it and it's relatives from the farm. So right now I'm selling it as is. Not hurting to sell it ' but it does need someone to finish what was started. It's in very nice condition. Someone's project over years that never was finished. That's about all I know guys. I have an sales receipt and a affidavit of transfer from the estate so I have the things I need to get the ownership ' just haven't yet. But I can get it done if properly motived lol thanks ttys

Selling my thunderbird. I got the car a couple years ago. I’ve since had it in storage with the intentions to finish it. I don’t have the room to keep it at my house and I can’t keep paying the storage fees for it. As much as I would love to finish this car I have to sell it. Any make 2 door , convertible or maybe even a station wagon…. Consider cars from non-running parts and project cars, barn finds, nice running drivers to perfect unrestored survivors. About the only thing I am not buying would be completely restored trailer queens that a person is way over value in and looking for someone to bail them out - truthfully that won’t be me. This car has never been touched as far as restoration goes. All glass is in place and in good condition. Original jack and spare tire is there ( spare still holds air). Engine stuck and will need to be changed. I have a replacement engine and transmission from a 1959 that will fit it. Some body work will be required. Please no time wasters, tire kickers, free agents need apply. If you are really serious enough about this vehicle you will make an appointment to see it in person I am sure that you will be impressed with what you see., there is no evidence of bondo filler in it anywhere. Asking $17.500 there are many extra parts that go with the car such as complete front and rear ends including springs steering linkage etc.
