Perform diagnosis of engine, brake, electrical components of vehicles using vehicle onboard computer and various diagnostic software tools. A young Hepworth family with two infants are in a custody dispute with their daughter's s grandmother. The child is with her parents three days a week for a total of 21 hours a week Monday Wednesday and Saturday. Those days may be negotiable.. The task is to be in the house with the parents while the child is there. The supervisor is needed because the grandmother convinced a judge a year ago that supervision was required. Looking for someone that’s honest, self managing, resourceful, hard-working, and talented. Must have experience building homes/cottages, garages, and heavy and light landscaping. Century home renovation experience is of interest. You can hire help as needed but preference will go to the person that can handle most of the jobs on the jobs list below.

Must have a valid drivers license, tools, and own working truck (and ideally a trailer too.)
Accommodation on the property may be possible (RV). To be discussed.
Start with a 3 month contract through the spring of 2024 (March, April, May), but possibility of extension or work in the fall 2024. The target is to stop construction for the summertime months.

Skills needed:
Carpentry
Electrical and plumbing (if only basic knowledge, you can hire/manage subs)
Mini-dig, chainsaw, and tractor operation
Foundation up through to roofing experience and know-how
Materials sourcing (knowledge of different building options/materials, appropriate costs, and calculating amounts needed)
Negotiating with suppliers, subcontractors
Experience leading subcontractors or helpersJob is open to people of all walks of life, coming from rural or city, retired or young. Honesty, demonstrable experience, skill and attitude are the most important things here.
Jobs list:
Complete renovations on 1 full bath and 1/2 bath for old house
Build a new, basic, kitchen for old house
Floors, walls refinishing for old house
Install new hot water heater for old house (get rid of the rental)
Fix up or replace dock
Setup plumbing for laundry and outdoor hose, shower hookup
New pump house for Bay water pump system, add UV filter
Straighten foundation old 1880s house (with help!)
Re-finish paving on driveway
Chimney-clean, fix up fireplace(s), get WETT certified
Clean up old construction material and scrap metal around the property
Land clearing, maintenance and chainsaw work
Plan and build a no/low maintenance privacy screen (fence, cedars, shrubs, rocks… to be determined with your help) - screen from road and neighbors
Source and lead subcontractors/helpers as needed
Help prep new Garden area, tilling, soil, drainage
Carefully demo (maybe reno but not likely) an old barn to reuse and sell barn-wood

The parents live in Hepworth with their six month old son. Their 3 year old daughter is in primary custody of the grandmother and with the parents three days a week for a total of 21 hours. The CAS has confirmed there are no problems in the home and the family is waiting for a court date in June to end the custody arrangement. A mature person with ECE skills would be perfect.
