Go on a deep inner journey with the breath, access an altered state of consciousness, heal, and let go of what no longer serves you.
In this 60-minute breathwork journey you will access a heightened state of consciousness as well as the subconscious, and open the door for deep healing, and major transformation with just your breath! Many breathers say their one session was more beneficial than plant medicine and/or years of talk therapy.
Space is limited and the events tend to sell out. To save your spot, get your ticket here:
If you prefer to pay cash at the door you can reserve your spot with a small deposit here: ✨ https://linktr.ee/unitybreathwork
BREATHWORK IS THE GREATEST GIFT YOU CAN GIVE YOURSELF:
Breathwork is such a gift - it allows even the most active of minds to shift to an extremely deep, meditative state - a state that can take many people years or even decades of meditation to achieve. The trance-like hyper-conscious state you will experience during the breathwork is hard to explain; it's a truly incredible state of mind that you need to experience to understand.
Some commonly reported benefits that may occur:
- The release of stuck emotions that are stored in our body and cause dis-ease
- Meetings with deceased loved ones or the divine
- Transcendental experiences which instantly transform the way one experiences life (this is reported in about 10% of breathers)
- An opening of the heart
- More self-love
- A reduction of stress and anxiety
- Inner child healing
- Finding forgiveness of self and others
- Breakthrough insights
- Healing and letting go of painful relationships
- More confidence, inner peace, and a higher happiness set-pointWHAT TO EXPECT
We will meet for 90 minutes to allow time to explain what is going to happen, integrate, and share afterwards. The Breathwork journey itself will be done lying down for 60 minutes, with music to guide you. This is very different from pranayama and yogic breathing. Expect a journey and a different, yet uniquely healing experience every time you come :)

___________"I had no expectations when I first sat in on one of Megans classes, I was maybe even a little skeptical. Megan instantly made me feel comfortable, relaxed and that I belonged there. What I have found through Megans breathwork classes is honestly a revelation, and completely unexpected. Megan is the ideal breathwork facilitator, she is gentle but condident, and very grounded and authentic, which really resonates with me and I believe is what allowed me to be my real self and go on incredible and different journeys in each session. Whether you have or have not tried breathwork before I urge you to join one of Megans classes, they really are life changing". - Anthony
"Hi Megan, I was breathing with you today and I just need to tell you that it was one of the best experiences in my life! My dad and dog past away recently and I have been going to a therapist for some time. I am feeling better now but what I felt today and everything that I could take out from it is priceless. I couldn’t see my dad in my dreams nor feel his presence but today I did and you don’t know how much that means to me. So I just want to let you know that you are good at what you are doing. Thanks for your healing and amazing energy. I will be there next Saturday ❤️After all that crying I was in heaven, love to you!" - Nuria
"It was one of the most profound and transformative experiences I have ever had. Realizing how powerful our breath is and powerful we are was incredible. I experienced a feeling of release, letting go, a feeling of oneness, and togetherness. Sharing this experience with a very dear friend was wonderful." - Rudy

The 53rd annual Canoe the Nonquon is taking place on Saturday, June 3rd in Port Perry. The race is sanctioned by the Ontario Marathon Canoe and Kayak Racing Association (OMCKRA). The race was started by the Lake Scugog Historical Society as a fundraiser for the Scugog Shores Museum Village. Volunteers help plan and organize the race each year. Thank you to Durham Tourism, Brock’s and Cozzy Electric for sponsoring our race this year and Two Blokes Cider for supporting the efforts to make this a Zero-Waste event!
The course starts on the twisty Nonquon River. For the first few kilometers there are many tight bends to challenge your rudder turns. There are also some dead end channels along the river section (when in doubt always keep right). There is 12 km of river paddling followed by an 8 km sprint along the shores of Lake Scugog to the finish line.
Participants race the clock and can start anytime between 8:00 - 10:30 am on Saturday morning. This is a well attended race with a long-standing history in the community. Amateurs and professionals, young and older, may compete in a large number of competitive or recreational categories. Shuttle vans are available to take participants back to their cars upon concluding the race at either Robinglade Park (river only) or Palmer Park (full course).
Registration takes place at the Latcham Centre, 121 Queen Street, Port Perry on Friday, June 2nd from 6:00 – 9:00 pm and Saturday, June 3rd from 7:00 – 10:00 am. The registration fee is $65/canoe or kayak or SUP. Pledge forms are available to participants who wish to raise additional funds for the Museum. All participants MUST bring a completed registration form, signed waiver, signed Rowan’s Law form for participants under 25 years of age, and emergency contact form to the Latcham Centre before proceeding to the start line. Upon registration at the Latcham Centre you will receive your race number. You will not be permitted to start the race without this number. All race forms are available at www.scugog.ca/canoe.
Canoe the Nonquon is the largest annual fundraiser for the Scugog Shores Museum Village. Minimum race entrance fee is $65, but all participants are encouraged to raise more money through sponsorship to support our community and the Museum as we celebrate the 53rd running of the race!

Need a sports camp near you? It's time to get your kids off the couch, away from the TV, and moving outdoors for a few hours a day. (Bonus: A little exercise is great for health.) Choose our summer camp for basketball and French/English/Math tutoring.
Each day they will learn the fundamentals and play basketball all the while they are also learning French, English and Math. We will have split day between sports and curriculum-based learning. This way kids learn and explore. They'll gain invaluable experience while advancing their skills in a fun, non-competitive environment.
Come join us for the summer, and maybe get a few new skills!
And for the first two weeks of promotion we are having 10% off. Limited time only!

IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THE BOWIE LIVES: A David Bowie Spectacular
is ready to ROCK The Regent Theatre in Oshawa on June 3, 2022, at 8pm
It's been over two years since the pandemic and The Bowie Lives sold out the Regent Theatre in Oshawa, in March 2020, and they are excited to resume touring in 2022!
"5 Stars! Unbelievable!" says Richard Crouse, Host of CTV PopLife. “By far, the best & coolest Bowie Tribute I’ve seen!” says Sam Grosso, Cadillac Productions, Toronto Ontario. They're talking about "The Bowie Lives" Canada's most sensational Bowie Spectacular! Michael Bell is an award-winning vocalist who channels the sound and styles of David Bowie, and with the help of an all-star band, venue, and costumes to capture the imagination of fans young and old.
The love of Bowie began as a teen and then, later on, Michael created his first theatrical production called "ChangesAllBowie" which toured the "A circuit" in the '80s. He hung up his "Ziggy" in the early '90s and never imagined professionally performing Bowie again! However, after David's untimely death on January 10, 2016, his calling returned, as did the industry interest. Contacting long-time musical director Michael Beauclerc, they began auditioning players to fill out a band capable of performing some of rock's most challenging material. The Bowie Lives bring all the hits to the stage spanning 4 decades deep from Space Oddity to Lazarus, and everything in between.
The Bowie Lives, pre-show includes the Bowie Bazaar; collectibles bought and sold, put on Bowie make-up and costume props to help you get your Bowie on plus photo opportunities and so much more! Come in costume dressed as your favorite David Bowie persona! Fun for all ages.
Michael is also the subject of an upcoming documentary film Being David Bowie slated for release in 2022.
Put on your red shoes and dance the blues! For more information visit www.thebowielives.com./
