Companion horse for your consideration!
Sweet 20 year old Arabian gelding with a sweet disposition and will to please. Has not foundered, no known health issues, and has beautiful feet!
Has only been trained by a female and handled his entire life. Only extensive training began at 16.5/17 years old.
Was brought down from northern BC as a breeding stallion and underwent 4 years of training involving riding, extensive ground work, and spook proofing.
During his training, a reoccurring problem was noticed when it came to his reactions to his surroundings that has caused severe safety concerns and because of this, we are selling as companion only.
The reactions he portrays are based solely on fear and natural instincts which he had to rely on for the previous 16 years to protect his herd and himself from common predators.
Please note that he is NOT aggressive by any means. He has never struck, bit, kicked, or attacked. The reactions involve spooking and flightiness.
Up to date on vaccinations, deworming.
Ties, loads, stands for farrier, leads well, and is responsive to the lightest touch.
We want him to go to a home with a gentle hand and other horses for companionship as he is so sweet and thrives off of human and horse interaction.
Serious injuries only please.

Tater is 10 hands/just over and will be 8 this spring.
I bought him a year ago to be a lead line pony for my toddler and grow into his saddle pony, but he’s a little much for the beginning stages. He was being ridden w/t/l consistently by a 9 year old when I got him, and he’s got nothing mean that I’ve been able to see; just a forward guy.
He would benefit from some miles, but has a great handle on him in the bridle. I’ve ground driven him around some, and hopped on him for the first time in 7 months last fall and he was a star. He’s pulled a little sled off his saddle as well. He’d make a super youth project; I think he’ll come leaps and bounds once back in consistent work.
Exposed to cattle; never founder and is on free hay with my big horses and isn’t too fat right now. He’s a little tough to catch when you first get him, but comes around pretty quick after he gets to know you and you pack treats
He’s a really personable guy and has been sweet with my kid, he’s just got more to him than we’ll be ready for for a while yet and I hate to see him bored. Asking $1400; located an hour west of Grande Prairie.

I got him in November from someone that could not afford to feed him, so he was under weight, he has done very well, and the sweetest soul, he is still a colt, he will have feet trimmed beginning of February, he leads halter broke, lifts feet, trailered good when we picked him up, loves his grain, he is use to a blanket on him,

Still Available due to no fault of his own
Riley is a 2010 Cremello Gelding. 3/4 Quarter Horse and 1/4 Morgan. 15'1 hh.
In your pocket, affectionate guy, loves attention and being fussed over.
Has done mostly Jumping and Dressage, excels in a consistent program with regular work and handling. Light, Responsive and Fun to ride in an arena setting. Trail rides he can be a bit more exuberant than appreciated, but not always. Needs a firm but fair rider as he will try you and see what he can get away with the first ride, once he knows he can't get away with anything he's a gem. He isn't getting the time he deserves and I would love to see him go to a home with a confident young rider, who can fuss over him while letting him be his goofy self. Riley loves to work and enjoys being in a program. Full of character, knows a few tricks and will do anything for treats.
Loads, ties, stands, good for farrier. Medium pecking order in the herd.
Please note he is not currently in work due to owner's busy schedule, moving and lack of time.
Located just outside of Dawson Creek, current negative EIA test (Coggins), and PPE exam available to serious buyers only.
3 video's available at the link attached. No flat video's as owner rides alone majority of the time.

Cookie
This flashy and sweet girl is a 2yo Quarter Pony (registered with IQPA), 13.2 HH now and we expect her to mature at 14 HH.
She's had some ground work done (good to catch, leads, picks up feet, lunges w/t/l, wears bareback pad and western saddle, start of liberty, jumps barrels, crosses tarps, good to bath, good with spray, trailer loads and I also ponied her).
Cookie has a few rides on her in a riding arena and some trail rides. She was kicked out on pasture for the last two months as I didn't have enough time for her.
She is not a kids pony at this time and needs to go to an experienced person as she is still young.Cookie is very smart, sensitive, athletic and a quick learner. She's gonna make somebody a great catty little horse some day, to have lots of fun with. She is not mean (has never tried to kick or bite).
Located in Fort St. John, British Columbia. Priced at CND4500. Price will increase with more training.

2018 AQHA bay gelding. Hoss is a son of Fleetwood’s Champ Silverado and out of a daughter of Jax Fed Ex. He’s correct, quiet and smart as a whip.
Lightly started as a long 2 year old, he was being used to pony other colts by ride 10. He’s always been a cinch up and go type and takes time off in complete stride.
Due to time constraints, he’s only been in light work, but is so ready to go to work. He comes running to be caught every time you show up with the halter and I have no doubt he’d go all day and then all night for you.
Great handle, soft in the hand and good woah. He’s been exposed to Buffalo and cows; was sorted off this spring and tracks a calf like nobody’s business. Has had a rope swung off him and dragged a tire, but we haven’t had the chance to rope anything live off him.
He gets left for 1-5 months and then picks up without any funny business other than being eager to get out and go. He takes new things in stride but due to being a more sensitive horse and so young, experienced rider is required.
Excellent mind set on him with heaps of jam to catch a cow or take to the roping arena.
This guy has been with us since a weanling and is a favorite, but he’s far too talented to keep sitting around as much as he does. We have an extremely busy year ahead of us and all he wants to do is go to work.
Our loss is your gain; he’s the type to become a ranch family’s go to, a wicked heel/breakaway horse, and could be pretty competitive in ranch sorting/team penning. Get him before he gets legged back up this spring and his value reflects it.
Mid/high 4’s; located west of Grande Prairie.

Unique opportunity!
Sechelt, Our purebred Haflinger broodmare (not papered) is looking for new pasture. She has been exposed to our purebred Friesian stallion. Although she has not been ultrasounded, we are quite certain she is in foal as she has always had a healthy foal and looks to be bred. The foal would be 50% Friesian 50% Haflinger and would be able to be registered through the Friesian registries. Pictures of her, the stud she’s been exposed to, her last weanling filly and her 2 year old filly.

I am looking to add a pony to our family. Must be a pony or small sized horse as we have two tall geldings already.
Criteria:
Broke to ride
No buck, bolt, or bite
No previous founder
Good with kids brushing, petting, pampering it.
My daughter is 5 and would love to do gymkhana on her own (not being on a lead line) so previous trailering and arena work is a plus.
Please message me if you have a pony that your kids have maybe outgrown.

We are accepting select young horses for colt starting, as well as started horses for additional advancement in their training, as well as miles and conditioning programs for the spring of 2021.
We are located on a working, family run cattle ranch near Hudson’s Hope, BC. Roger is a third generation rancher & horseman with 25 years experience starting horses. Roger has had the pleasure over the years of riding & training under the influences of Ray Hunt, Peter Campbell, Bert Elstop ( travelling to New Zealand to ride with Bert), and Martin Black to name a few.
Our personal & client horses are exposed to many different situations including cattle work, arena work, water, trail riding etc. These colts are offered the correct, core foundation with a kind, gentle hand. Emphasis on creating a soft, confident horse that can advance easily to any direction of disciplines. It’s part of our program to include the owner in this training process. We encourage our clients to participate with us in lessons, in a one on one setting with their horse in training. Educating the owner in a safe, fun, positive environment to implement the tools for proper communication & success when the horse goes home is key! Lindsay is an Equine Therapist with 10 years experience and assists me in the daily training process. Together we observe the horse from a musculoskeletal perspective to make sure that horse is moving and feeling it’s best biomechanically. We address any imbalances ( soft tissue or structurally )with the owners permission, that may cause pain or behavioural issues in the horse, as we want to provide the best foundation for horse moving forward.
Price per month is $950 & GST including board & feed program. Please PM or give us a call at 250-783-3396 to visit about our program & any questions that you may have.
The coffee is always on to talk horses and we encourage our clients to stop by at anytime along the way!
