OTTB mare

Meet Piper. I’ve only had her for about 3
months with no background info on her.
Kijiji has helped me with some info on her.
She’s an 8 year old ( almost 9 ) thoroughbred mare. She’s apparently previously suffered a knee slab fracture. I’ve ridden her daily, up to 6 hours a day, running included and no heat/swelling or lameness has happened in the knee.
But I’d like to find this sweet girl a good home. Light riding, no career for her obviously.
She has been a pleasure of a trail horse. She will do anything you ask. I ride her with a side pull hack, bareback or western saddle. I will say she should go to a confident rider as she does have some pep to her. She ties, picks up feet but isn’t a big fan of loading into a trailer. Some patience and consistency will get her there tho.
I’m heartbroken to sell her but I have to do to financial reason - truck repairs unfortunately.
Im hoping to find her a great home with someone who will enjoy her as much as I have.
