I have Tick getting a bit of a refresher down in Rockglen, SK area.
I've owned him since February 2016, but he has been on the backburner essentially since 2022 when I had my first child.
Hes my favorite horse I've ever ridden, he's a bit spicy to start, so not for first timers. Confident beginner, maybe.
Good around children, from my experience with him around my little girl.
He's mostly been ridden western, but the goal was to be primarily ridden english for jumping, however I got pregnant and lost my confidence. He has quite the jump on him, even over tiny jumps.
He is nervous on trails, he needs consistency and to be around other horses.
He was always at the gate for me too.
He is an easy keeper!!
LOVES attention!
Stands tied, good for farrier.
Id like to receive updates as well. I still keep in contact with his breeder and we both want to make sure he goes to a good home.

Cupcake is a 2023 registered Shetland mare standing 10.2 hands. She’s put together beautifully and moves really nice. She’s flashy, sweet, willing and tries her best to please.
She is one of the nicest young ponies we’ve offered available.
Cupcake is well started under saddle (was started early last fall and has been rode consistently through the winter).
She rides w/t/l, direct reins, good stop and back up. She’s a bit more forward moving, but is not overly quick.
She has had arena and outside miles. She’s been hauled a couple times for exposure and rides down the trails/in the fields good too.
She is very easy to catch (walks up to you and bags to be caught), ties, loads/unloads, is easy to tack up, good with her feet, lunges and stands well for the kids to brush.
She ground drives, pulls a sled well, and should be easy to get driving with a cart.
She has been desensitized to tarps, ropes, flags, hola hoops, hoping over small jumps and such.
She is a very sweet, willing, kind mare with a bit of spunk and sass. She does have one minor quirk, if left tied in the barn where she can’t see anyone she will have a bit of a pity party (whinny and pace/paw) she is otherwise great to tie anywhere, just gets worried if she can’t see anybody.
She’s a good minded little mare, never offered to buck, bolt or kick. She’s safe for my two younger sisters (ages 7&3) to catch, groom, lead and tack up on their own. She’s had complete beginners ride her a few times in the arena with no issues (because of her age she’s not a complete beginner pony though, she will need guidance to keep her going the right way in her training).
She rides the same in a group as she does alone (she’ll ride off the yard by herself just fine) and she is the same pony with time off. She is ready for her next kids to put lots of miles and fun on her.
She lives outside 24/7 in a pony herd with no issues. She is up to date on farrier, deworming and vaccinations.
I would like to see her go to the right fitting home.

We originally got Caliber as a companion, but no longer have that horse. I really like this little guy, so I will be picky where he goes. He was a leadline pony before we bought him.
UTD on worming, vax, coggins. Missed the last farrier appt due to weather.
Sweet and friendly, with hardly any pony sass.

He's OK at lunging, much better loose in a round pen then on a line.
I've sent him over some jumps in the round pen and he seems to like that.

Teddy is a very sweet natured gelding. He had been lightly started last spring. He will need a restart. Currently 15hh but slightly bum high.
He is handled daily and has lots of ground work done. He is very respectful and has good ground manners. Easy to catch, lead and load. He is however very sensitive and not very self confident so he needs a rider who can take control and reassure him by moving his feet and getting him focused when he gets worried. He is not a beginners horse but wants to please and is very smart. Firm on price.

Major has been around dogs, kids, vehicles, had ropes thrown around him and has taken it all in stride. He does get a little nervous when his buddies leave him but is learning to adjust and manage on his own.
Registration papers are transferred to my name now.
He is registered as black but gets quite light in the summer. I’m guessing him to mature to at least 15.2 and should be a solid all around gelding.

Sue is broke there is no funny business or buck or bolt on this mare. She’s mostly been used to move cow’s around out on the farm. Go for joy rides. Been barrel races off of. Been at the stockyards for couple years now. Loves to work, she’s been rode by a 3 yr old girl. They get along great.anyone could get away with riding this horse. Just point and go. This is Mikey. Mikey is a 9 year old (grade) quarter horse. Mikey is a well behaved gelding with a funny personality. Mikey has cow sense and was used to cut cows. Mikey has had a rope thrown off of him. He is good around other horses, dogs, cats, goats, sheep, cows, and machinery. Mikey is an amazing horse and he is a very very fast learner. Mikey has worked as a staff horse at Dallas Valley Ranch Camp and he has also been in the mountains in B.C. He is UTD on farrier, teeth, chiro, vaccines, and dewormer. The only reason for selling is that we don’t have enough hay this year to keep him sadly.

Dixie is a 2021 morgan x quarter horse mare. She's roughly 14hh. She is a sweetheart on the ground and under saddle. She has started jumping and can w/t/c. Dixie just went to her first show recently and did very well in her hunter classes. She is a finer build so should would make a great hunter/jumper for a kid or small adult. She is utd on vaccines and deworming.
