Looking for work in a horse stable setting in the Deep river - Renfrew area. Grew up with horses and riding! Haven’t been around a farm in a quite a few years due to moving/jobs but really want to get back into it as I want to have my own stable one day. Comfortable doing the gritty work!
Looking for a paying job but will also volunteer as I love doing the work regardless of pay!

The Personal Support Worker provides personal care and performs selected tasks, which are within their knowledge and skill, under the direction of their supervisor while adhering to regulatory and Revera's standards, policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities - To adhere to the plan of care as determined by the supervisor; - To facilitate residents' move in and transfers where applicable; - To observe and report on residents/clients care/service utilizing appropriate Revera forms or tools; - To assist the resident/client with personal care and hygiene and activities of daily living; - To observe and report on changes in residents/clients condition to supervisor; - To escalate medical emergencies to supervisor or emergency medical services as appropriate; - To plan and prepare nutritious meals as required; - To assist with ambulation, mobilization, transferring and adaptive aids; - To demonstrate understanding of resident/client needs and maximize abilities; - To provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support to the resident/client/family; - To maintain resident/client information confidentiality; - To respond to resident/client/family concerns and ensure appropriate action taken within decision making authority and or concern communicated to supervisor; - To assist in maintaining a safe and cleanly environment, including residents/clients equipment , belongings, and nursing equipment; - To observe & report to the Client Service Supervisor any concerns regarding client's safety, including physical environment, implement interventions as directed by his/her supervisor & advocate on client's behalf to ensure client's safety is maintained; - To engage with other agencies involved in resident/client care as directed; - To attend in services to develop knowledge and skills; - To work in a position of trust with vulnerable adults (residents); - To uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera's Code of Conduct; - To complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Graduate of Personal Support Worker program (or provincial equivalent certificate program with minimum 600 hours in Ontario & Alberta of theory & practicum) - Experience working with seniors in the community health services setting - Must possess strong written and oral communication skills - Demonstrated organizational and time management skills - Strong interpersonal and customer focus skills - Must have demonstrated sound skills and knowledge of providing personal care duties - Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required - Ability to perform tasks that are necessary for the position, e.g. lifting/transferring clients - Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.

Reporting to the Director of Care (DOC) or Director of Health and Wellness (DHW), the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) is responsible for providing planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with the provincial standards of care. Key Responsibilities - To work as a member of the inter professional team as described by Revera's Professional Practice Model applying the person centered approach to care; - To complete and ensure resident's clinical care assessments, care/service plans and documentation are accurate, up to date and changes communicated as required; - To implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care/service plans and make changes as required; - To assist with scheduling of resident's care conferences and participate in conferences where applicable; - To work closely with DOC/DHW to facilitate resident's move in, move out and transfers; - To provide direct resident care and medication/ treatment administration and document care in compliance with regulatory and Revera Resident Care standards and policies and procedures; - To process the orders and safe keep drugs and narcotics and administer in compliance with all regulatory requirements, scope of practice and Revera policies and procedures; - To facilitate and provide resident/family education; - To plan, coordinate, manage & evaluate the resident's care plan working with the resident/substitute decision maker, physicians, nursing & interdisciplinary team and contracted service providers; - To coordinate nursing team's resident care assignments to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services to residents; - To respond to and manage significant changes in resident's condition and or medical emergencies; provide emergency first aid; - To teach, delegate to, and direct unregulated care providers; - To respond to resident/family concerns and ensure appropriate action taken and or concern communicated to DOC/DHW/Executive Director and other departments; - To follow and assist the DOC/DHW in the coordination, implementation and monitoring of Infection Prevention and Control , Health and Safety and Clinical Programs and Quality/Safety Plans for the Nursing Department; - To uphold and promote the organization's values and philosophy relating particularly to ethics, morality, and integrity as set out in Revera's Code of Conduct; - To complete all other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in applicable Province/State; - Experience working in a senior's environment and with unregulated care providers preferred; - Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long term care an asset; - Must possess strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, care coordination, time management and customer focus skills; - Must have demonstrated sound clinical knowledge; - Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required; - Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft office applications. - Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS).

My brother and I are looking to help shovel driveways/walkways in our local area as a way to help save for school. We also have 1-2 slots still available for reoccurring snow removal being in the mornings or afternoons.

The Stress, Interpersonal Relationships and Health Lab (SIRH) is looking for couples in which at least one partner is trying to change their diet and/or physical activity habits. The main goal of this study is to investigate how different types of couples’ behaviors influence change in eating and physical activity behaviors over time.
Participation in our study involves completing questionnaires and participate in a discussion task.
Earn up to 100$ over 3-months for participating in this study.
