Upland Organics is currently looking to hire a seasonal full-time farm employee (this position can become permanent for the right candidate). We are a modern family-owned certified organic grain farm with cattle located near Wood Mountain, in South-Central Saskatchewan.
Duties
Operate farm machinery and equipment to assist in field operations
Equipment repair, cleaning and maintenance
General farm work as required
Some livestock work.
Maintain a positive attitude and work environment
Work in a safe and effective manner
Qualifications
Ability to work long hours when required
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Effective oral and written communication skills
Must maintain a valid Saskatchewan drivers licence with Class 1A being an asset
Basic knowledge of GPS technology an asset
Welding and mechanical ability are assets

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the overall supervision, organization, coordination and control of our Public Works and Utility Systems. - Class 1A license holder operate and maintain semis and trailer units for the hauling of grain, water and other items when needed.

We are looking for:
- someone with a minimum of 1-2 years of equipment operation experience on a grain farm.
