The position:
Under the direction of the Farm Manager, the ideal candidate is responsible for various field operations, yard site maintenance, and basic equipment maintenance. This includes all aspects involved in the grain, yard, seeding and harvest operations, including day-to-day organization of tasks and experience using GPS/rate controller technology.Who you are:
You have a minimum of 2 years of operational experience, an agricultural background, and a Class 1A licence. You are able to perform basic maintenance on tractors, augers, air seeders, harrows, pumps, sprayers, swathers, semis, combines, grain cart, and grain vacuum. You are comfortable cleaning bins, mowing grass, spraying weeds around yard sites, and following instructions. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working as part of a team, and effectively take direction from leadership.Other details:
- A valid driver’s licence is required. Abstract may be requested.
- Class 1A licence is not required but is preferred. Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, be able to lift 50lbs, be able to reach and bend, and sit for prolonged periods of time.

Job Description: Installs, repairs, and maintains railroad tracks on federal and industrial railroads. Performs all related maintenance to railroad tracks at specified locations for our customers. • Raise rail, using track jack, to facilitate removal of old tie and installation of a new tie.

• Operates track wrench to tighten or loosen bolts at rail joints.
• Operates rail saw to cut rails to specified lengths.
• Operates portable grinder to grind worn ends of rails.
• You are required to use a shovel for ballast and other track debris.
• Drives company vehicles - driver abstract required.

I am looking for a Handyman type of person to do ongoing repairs and maintenance on a couple of commercial strip malls in Prince Albert. This would be part time work and could include things like the following:
- Hanging a door
- Painting
- Plumbing repair
- Parging some water damage to a few Masonry Blocks
- Lawn maintenance (or supervising the person who is hired to mow the lawns)
- Repairing a fence
- Trimming back some shrubs
- Etc.
This would be an ongoing job and the number of hours would depend on the person who is doing the job. I would expect that it would average 10 to 20 hours a month but it would vary. (For example, I would like get the front of one of the buildings painted this year. If you wanted to do it then there would be maybe 50 hours with that paint job alone. However, if you didn’t want to do it, then I could get bids from a professional painter to do it and it would be no hours.)
This would be an ideal job for a retired Handyman would was looking a few hours as they would determine from time to time.
