TJ was born March 6th and is a beautiful and sweet boy/girl. Our doves are very docile, non-biting birds that are hand trained from birth. If you’re considering a pet bird, they are easy and very loving birds for beginners. Follow our little dove family on TikTok louieandlibbydove for more info on these amazing domesticated pets.
PS. These doves are our pets and raised indoors. We do not endorse or support any dove releases with our birds. Thanks for understanding. ❤️

Tavane Farm is taking deposits for 2024 Saanen kids. This year, we won't be breeding without deposits. 50% holds your kid for 2024 kidding season. The deposit is refundable in the event we don't produce the gender of the kid you are looking for.
All kids are from a registered Saanen buck. Our does produce 1 gallon of milk a day when in full production. All Tavane Farm kids are well socialized and make great pets and/or milk goats.
Saanen goats bring their own unique characteristics of high milk production with lower butterfat percentage. The butterfat percentage is usually in the 3.5% range. The average milk production of a Saanen goat doe is 2545 pounds of milk per year.
This breed is a good choice for children and beginners in the goat world. Saanens possess a calm temperament. You often hear the terms hardy, calm and sweet used to describe the breed.

We are devastated to have to rehome our beloved Maygray AKA Bun-Bun, AKA Eclipse, but my daughter can’t stop coughing and my eyes won’t stop itching!
We are looking for a home without any dogs (friendly, calm cats ok, we have one cat here) to take her into their family. Maygray was raised with other bunnies, so would likely get along with other rabbits, and she is not spayed.Maygray currently has free range of a bedroom, and is litter trained. She can be timid but hops out from her favourite spot under the bed when we tap our fingers on the floor and offer treats, and she allows us to pet her. She is quite vocal and will let you know if she needs more space. There is nothing more relaxing than to lie on the floor having her hop around you!
She does require a fair bit of grooming, brushed once a day and haircut every couple months or so. Her fur can be used to make yarn!I originally paid a breeder $200 for Maygray, and everything needed for her would be included in the rehoming fee. This includes:
Cage (we only kept her in at night, and this is where her little box and hay are.
Littler box
Food dish
Leash/harness
Brush/comb for grooming
Protective tubing for electrical wires
Chew toy
Water bottle
Food
Hay
Litter

PICK UP ONLY - LANGFORD or SOOKE B.C
I have Pilgrim goslings available soon, with more being hatched throughout the next month or so. These are from 3 sister geese and 1 gander and so are partially related. I do not recommend interbreeding as health issues can arise in their young.
If you would like to be added to my list please email me with your name, number, and amount of each gender that you would like - additionally:
***I REQUIRE PHOTOS OF WHERE GOSLINGS WILL BE KEPT***Due to the carelessness of one of my previous customers - resulting in the deaths of two of their three goslings - I am now requiring a photo of your brooder and outside pen that these geese will be residing in when of age. The well being of the goslings is paramount to me and I will not tolerate further unnecessary and avoidable deaths.
***INFO ON HAVING AND RAISING GEESE***
- They are the cutest personality filled babies I have ever raised and are by far my favourite. They will bring such a smile to your face and warm your heart with their fluffy little butts! They are also the cheapest animal I have ever owned because they just eat grass.
- Geese can live up to 25 years. This is a commitment. Make sure you are ready!
- Adults are loud. Very loud. If you live in close proximity to others you will want to consider the implications of their noise levels. They are amazing alarms - you will know if anyone comes onto your property. They are only loud when there is activity near them or they are disciplining each other - also when they are mating...!
- Goslings will imprint on you - this means they will follow you around. You must walk carefully when they are loose as they want to be right at your feet and are extremely fast and easily squished.
- Goslings will complain when you leave them alone in their brooder. I recommend keeping their brooder either always in eye shot of you OR in a room / garage far enough away that you don't have to listen to these complaints at full volume for extended periods of time as it can be taxing.
- Goslings require a heat lamp usually for the first 4 weeks of life but each house / garage is different in temperature and so is required on a case by case basis. Having one is necessary, using it may not be - especially with Summer approaching. Having fans accessible is a good idea as they can overheat in the Summer time.
- Goslings and Geese are very mouthy. They will chew on everything. If you have tarps, shiny wheel rims, shoes, shoe laces (their favourite), blankets, RV covers, etc. they will likely chew on and peck at them. If you care about damage do not let your geese near these things.
- Goslings and Geese love the water - allowing them access to a kiddie pool or stock tank is highly recommended. They need it for mating purposes as well.
- Dogs and cats like to eat goslings. If you have a dog or cat, it is to be kept separate at all times from the goslings. If goslings are raised around relaxed dogs and cats they will not see them as a threat as adults making them vulnerable to attack from fox, coyote, raccoon, cougars, neighbourhood dogs, etc. Let's give them a fighting chance. Livestock guardian dogs of course do not fit into this category.
- The adult males will try to dominate you - if you do not show them you are the alpha they will likely become aggressive towards you, especially during mating season (Spring). This is perfectly manageable but requires consistent enforcement. It makes them excellent protectors of their 'ladies' however, so is a plus in my eyes.
- Neck vibrations and pecking or lunging st you are signs of dominance and should not be allowed - simply push away the goose or push into them yourself to establish that it is not okay to do that to you.
- Bears, eagles, and even raccoon will want to eat your geese. If you do not have a proper pen for them, you risk them being killed. They will probably scare off raccoon but not the bears or eagles. They need to be in a fenced off area or, if free ranged, under supervision.
- If they are raised in and around ducks and chickens they will likely become protective of them. If they are introduced as adults they may be aggressive to them instead.
- Geese go broody in the Spring and will lay eggs from a year onward. I recommend having a separate place for each goose to nest or they may pile onto the same nest which risks eggs breaking and geese pecking at each other. The first year they usually do not succeed in fully bringing eggs to hatch. They are much better second year.
***FEEDING***
-Geese eat and can survive exclusively on grass. Goslings benefit greatly from offerings of cut grass in their brooder and, if possible, periods of supervised grazing. This helps their bones form properly and contributes to overall health.
- Goslings must be provided a constant supply of Duck and Goose starter crumbles (20-22%) until 3 weeks of age, after which you will switch to a Duck and Goose pellet (14-16%) which they will eat the rest of their life. As adults you can remove feed overnight.
- Goslings must be provided with grit so they can process the grass. I use grit #1 which is the smaller size.
- Goslings must always be provided with water while their is feed accessible. They can choke on starter crumbles if no water is supplied.
If you have ANY questions please email me and ask. My list may sound daunting but I feel it is better to over inform than under inform and give goslings a fighting chance.
Goslings must be sold in 2's or more.

Meet the 3 musketeers, Martin, Teddy, and Sam. These very friendly half brothers just turned a year old and love horsing around and relaxing in the sun with each other. They may be small but these purebred Nigerian Dwarf wethers have a big appetite for brush and weeds, making them great land clearers or lawnmowers! These boys are great with kids and would be amazing pets as well.
These boys were born from registered parents, and can be sold separately for $200 each, or go together for a total of $475. There is a chance of another one being available later on if you would like a fuller team.

The most beautiful baby Netherland dwarf bunny rabbits are in Montreal. A little drive, but worth the trip! Delivery is also available for your convenience.
We show our rabbits at ARBA ( American Rabbit Breeder Association) shows. We were the only breeder of purebred Netherland dwarfs, Holland lops, mini rex, and lionheads to fly from Quebec or Ontario to Reno, Nevada last year, to show rabbits at the ARBA Annual Convention and our Netherland dwarfs won in their classes!
We are specialized in breeding top-quality Netherland dwarfs and have produced over 10 grand champions thus year alone. Our orange Netherland dwarf buck was the BEST orange male entered with 90 oranges competing at the 99th ARBA annual Convention in Reno, Nevada. Another senior buck was 5th. Our orange senior does came 2nd and 4th, Junior doe was 3rd. In fawns, our fawn senior doe was 2nd. Our fawn senior bucks were 3rd and 5th. Our broken junior orange buck was 4th. Do not be fooled by the competition: the best orange, fawn, and broken Netherland dwarfs in Canada are in Montreal!
Ready to go now: orange, fawn, broken chestnut, broken fawn, broken opal, broken lilac tortoiseshell and rare harlequin, and very rare tri-colored Netherland dwarf babies.
We have four dwarf breeds of bunnies. The Netherland dwarf is one of the smallest breeds and 1.5 to 3 lbs on average. Is has a short, cobby body, rounded head and short ears. The mini rex is perhaps the most playful and extroverted, with short, plush, hypoallergenic. It most ressembles a cat or dog in temperament. (Please note that this breed is not *guaranteed* to not cause allergies. Allergy testing is your best bet if you have doubts about getting any pet.) Our mini rex typically weigh 2.5 to 3.5 lbs.The lionhead is a dwarf rabbit with a long mane around its neck and some longer fur on its rump, resembling a lion. It has a great temperament. Finally, the Holland lop is the smallest of all the lop-eared ( hanging ear) breeds, and usually very calm.
All our rabbits are lovingly raised in our home with 4 kids, cat, and dog, and are handled daily which allows them to be socialized and used to household noises. Our rabbits are all friendly and are litter- trained or started litter -training. They are dewormed, treated for fleas, ticks, and mites and get a preventative treatment for coccidiosis.
Also ready to go:
Vienna carrier Holland lop girls: black tortoiseshell (caramel), magpie, orange.Mini rex: chocolate and black harlequin, red, fox, black tortoiseshell chocolate chinchilla.
Lionheads: blue-eyed white, himalayan, vienna carrier blue with single mane, double-maned blue, chocolate, and fawn with BLUE EYES.
Prices start at 50 for babies and up, depending on the breed and color. Some adults available from 40.
New cages and complete starter kits are available. Used cages also available.
Please do NOT buy a bunny impulsively. A bunny is 8 to 12 years of responsibility. It is a loving, sentient creature and is not for you to dispose after your child(ren) get bored of it. We will always take back our bunnies if you can no longer care for them (conditions apply). Please do not abandon them in a park or at the SPCA.
Please call for more information 514 779 6726

Hello Kijiji.
One of my male rats has recently passed leaving behind two broken hearts (mine included)
My boy is 2 years but still very active and healthy and I'm trying to figure out what my best option is if I should find another companion for my boy similar in age or give him up to another home with other boys.
Just putting out some feelers. He means the world to me so I want to do whats best for him.
Please reach out if you have any advice or solutions. Thank you!

We bought "Panda" at 3 months old from PetSmart in March and then recently also got a young dog (had been looking for a few yeas.... long story!), and wish we had more energy to give to Panda, so have decided to rehome her (even though our puppy is obsessed with her!). Included in the price is: her large cage with top and side openings, the wheel, bridges, tunnels, sand "toilet" (which she uses mostly to pee in - also pees in another corner), chaise lounge, toys, a couple of bags of food, some fluff for the cage, cage cleaner, treats, chewy sticks, a homemade cardboard maze with lid, the gloves we use when handling her, 1/2 a bag of sand, and a homemade "carrier" tupperware case you can use when transporting her or cleaning her cage. Panda has a sweet personality, is not scared of our puppy at all when she's in her cage, is appropriately curiously and shy when running around our bathroom, comes into our hands when we have broccoli or cheerios, and is mostly still nocturnal (but we see her a few times in the afternoon and then come out "for good" around dinner, and sometimes mid morning too). They have a 1.5-2yr lifespan so Panda should have a good 12 months + left (good first pet!). We are in Cook St. Village area. Reach out with any questions.

Wonderful baby bunnies looking for their new forever home. Incredibly sweet and gentle, these bunnies have been handled by our children everyday and will be great pets. They were born in November, so are about 3 months right now. They enjoy kibble, grasses, and fresh greens. Rabbits live til about age 9, and can be litter trained. We would gladly accept $40 towards their upkeep, though will also give them for free:) We really and truly just want them to go to great homes.

NOT TO BE REHOMED UNTIL JUNE 20th.❤️

This 1 year old black beauty is in search of her new people!
She is currently residing in my herd of girls and gets along great with everyone else!
If you have another female guinea pig, we can set up a bonding date before you make the decision to take her home to make sure they get along.
If it doesn't work out, I am more than happy to take her back!
Do not hesitate to ask any questions. I am happy to answer them.I also have hay, pellets and shavings at a reduced price.

Free female bunny - comes with all that's needed. Pics available upon request. Need gone ASAP; I'm unexpectedly reacting to her hay (I've developed new and worse allergies since having covid) and my antihistamines only work a bit. That was not expected. As well, she's too scared of the other pets in spite of my efforts to separate these guys, and, to put the hay in other room (it still ends up in the air too much.)
About bunny:
She is a very pretty and soft (she has eyelashes!) She is quite sweet when you show her gentle affection - she responds well to head pets and cute voice stuff, but her needs are too much of a handful for me, as my health has been compromised. I thought I could rescue this bunny but it is too much for me and I hope to find someone able and willing. She is a healthy and robust bunny of medium to large size and will be a good lil buddy to a person who feels they are the right fit. She would do best either alone - but with a person that's around at least half the time who can gently dote on her - or with a more dominant, outgoing bunny friend... and clearly her person must not be allergic to hay! This bunny is quite docile and submissive - but can become anxious with the wrong approaches. She does not like being picked up (like most bunnies) and if you do you must say 'shh it's okay 'and pick her up the correct way (supporting her bum/hind legs - there are examples online.) She's definitely also (cautiously) curious and affectionate with gentle petting and cooing to her. She likes to explore a bit, once comfortable enough. She likes music, it seems to calm her - especially childrens' music. She's often keen to just sit and chill out...she's not a hyper bunny.
She really does loves those good gentle pets - she puts her head down to the ground and lightly chatters her teeth to show she's pleased... it's cute. She has a cage that she sits in and eats in but she's also been (cautiously) free roaming a bit. She is learning the litter box sometimes, but is still learning it and sometimes goes in her cage. She's a good, healthy eater. Eats her hay and pellets.. loves greens and the sometimes a carrot or apple treat.
I have not been able to bring her in the room even when the pets are caged, even though she seems like she wants to, which makes me feel torn, as she tries to go in... sometimes she tries and I'm forced to pick her up before she runs under my bed, which distresses her further.. but she's just too uncomfortable and scared of the other fur babies presence once she notices them. When they're out the want to chase her (they think it's a game) which has upset her a fair bit.
They say bunnies should have their own room but it seems like she is the kind that wants to hang out with you in your room (even if her cage is in another room) which I can't give her that as she's scared of my caged/sometimes roaming fur babies in there. I think she wants to be the apple of someones' eye... your 'princess.'
If you think you're able to give her a chance at a nice life with you, please let me know. If you're new to bunnies definitely look up/research care of them and be willing to learn as you go. I really don't want to take her to the SPCA, would rather find a good person who's up for this, as soon as can be. If it weren't for the unexpected allergy problem I'd try to work on the other issues more.
She really is a beautiful bun bun for those more experienced, willing and able without other pets (unless it's other bunnies) OR at least with more room to separate them, like a bigger house. She deserves better. You must pick up as I don't have a car, but all you need comes with her. Please let me know if you're interested and a bit about yourself, and want me to send photos. Please email only. Thanks.

Born on May 5, 2022.
Already neutered, he’s a timid boy. Because I don’t have much time stay with him probably. But more time you stay with he will be closer to you. Now I can't support him because of moving and other reasons, so I hope to find a good forever home for him.
All his supplies will come with him, including litter box in picture, playpens, carrier, hay feeder, etc.
And he’s not afraid of cats.Text me if you are interested, better not call, thank you!

Hi, these guinea pigs are very sweet. Unfortunately I cannot keep them anymore due to being in a "pet free" condo.
They are about a year old. Very friendly. One is Lola and she is tri coloured and very cute, with an adorable haircut, and friendly. The other is Brownie who is shy but a great friend to Lola.
They come with a large deluxe cage, glass water bottle, galvanized steel feeder, and trunk house. They are a delight and would love a home with kids to play wth them. They have never bitten anyone. They will make wonderful pets for anyone who loves critters :). I give them a good size handful or tow of fresh veggies every day and they get the dried grass and pellets, I also give them big handfulls of clover and grass from outside. They are healthy and very sweet.
You can see in the photos I provided the cage that they are in. It has a little addition for them to run around outside or just out of the cage.
Please call or text me at 250 589 7301.
I am asking $175 for everything. (Worth 6-700)
Thank you!

Update - two males left, black fur*
We have six beautiful purebred mini holland lop bunnies for sale! They were born on April 19th and will be ready to go in the week of June 13th at 8 weeks old. We have four black bunnies, one black and white, and one black brown and white.
We are a small rabbitry located on Vancouver Island, more specifically in the Victoria region. The rabbitry is located on a family farm where our bunnies have large enclosures to roam around in the grass and hay. We own both the mother and father. We handle our babies from very young so they are well socialized and very comfortable around humans. Both parents have calm, gentle natures and are very used to human attention. These bunnies are a small breed and usually grow to 4-7 pounds.
We are asking $120 for one bunny or $200 if you'd like to take two! Bunnies do very well in pairs.
Bunnies make the sweetest and most fun pets! Contact us if you have any questions or are interested in adopting one of our bunnies!

Happy, healthy, and pedigreed baby Syrian hamsters for adoption soon ~ by Lavender Meadows Hamstery (Richmond BC). We are looking for adopters for our summer litters where we will be delivering to Victoria (Swartz Bay terminal) to deliver our baby hamsters to their parents for free. We will be taking the ferry over. While there is usually a long wait time of about 6-8 months, the CURRENT wait time is around 2-3 months as we're expecting multiple litters. Deliveries are planned for June and August 2023.
OUR MISSION:
We breed hamsters with the intent to better the species by improving their health, genetics, and physical confirmations of Syrian hamsters through selective breeding. We hope to provide an ethical alternative to pet store hamsters which are usually sourced from rodent mills (unethical breeding, think of puppy mills)! Each litter at Lavender Meadows Hamstery is raised with lots of careful planning and love. You can read more about our practices on our website. All of our hamsters receive the best care possible with 800 + sq inch enclosures, 36 ingredient seed mixes, and tons of enrichment options. Questions are welcome.Adoption information:
To join the waitlist, there is $15 non refundable deposit that must be paid to hold your spot on the waitlist. When the pups are ready for adoption, you will be either matched with a pup or be able to choose between a few. Pups are matched based on personalities and what you are looking for. All pups are usually well socialized and great with handling. The total adoption fee is $65, $15 deposit and the $50 remaining is to be paid at the time of adoption.NEXT STEPS if interested: fill out the application form:
