We require asphalt personnel for our dedicated asphalt paving portion of our company which is entering its 6th season. Our primary focus is driveways and parking lots. During the first five years, we have built a good customer base in the Annapolis Valley.
We are looking for personnel who are willing and able to do all aspects of the work required from preparing base materials to paving of surfaces. Personnel are to act in a professional and tidy manor with customer expectations at heart.

We are requiring experienced personnel to operate our crushing and screening operation throughout the 2022-2023 season. The required person or persons must be capable of maintaining the equipment and keeping all components in good operational condition. Our crushing spread consists of a Metso C 106 Jaw Crusher and H P 300 Closed Circuit Cone as well as screening equipment for the purpose of separating and grading materials for Type 1 gravel and other base gravels, clear stones and products for the purpose of mixing asphalt.
The successful candidate must be mechanically minded and able to change and replace liners and jaw plates in the equipment. It would be an asset to have a candidate with loader and excavator experience due to the fact we use both in feeding and stockpiling process.
At present time we are looking for a supervisor as well as crushing crew staff. Supervisor would be responsible for crew management and training, coordinating overhaul and rebuild activities as well as the management of the pit/quarry locations. If you are interested in site works as well as crushing operations there may be full time year around employment in our company for the right individual.

Nestled in a living wreath of roses and bittersweet, our charming Tea Room is described by the Curated Guide as “something out of a fairy tale.” In this rustic converted shed in the heart of the Garden, you can feel a gentle breeze off the Bay of Fundy as songbirds flit past the open double French doors.We are seeking wait staff candidates who will be responsible for packaging picnic baskets, serving guests, and bussing tables in both the Tea Room and plein-air locations around the Garden. The various tables are located a stone’s throw from the private kitchen and prep area, so comfortable outdoor-friendly walking shoes are required! Our exquisitely packed baskets are resplendent with house-made scones, fresh lemon curd and clotted cream, Tangled Garden jams and jellies, patisseries, fine tea or coffee, and a selection of refreshing cocktails and mocktails. You will adorn the baskets with fresh-picked flowers and herbs from the Garden.

With the kitchen, garden, shop, weddings, and Plein Air Picnics in full-time operation during the summer months, working at Tangled Garden is fast-paced and variable.
