Long Beach Abaco is one of the worlds most hidden treasures. Pink pristine sandy beaches for as far as the eye can see. If a tranquil, quiet, secluded vacation is what your soul needs - I can't think of a better place.
Walk the beach, swim in the waves, hold hands with the ones you love or play with your kids in the sand.
Get away - Press "time out" in your life and escape to a small remote subdivision in one of the most untouched beautiful beaches in the world
-Rental car strongly recommended
You will have the entire second floor of the house, with your own entrance. The house is open concept so you can hang out, cook some great food in the huge kitchen, play some Caribbean tunes, read or snooze your days away.
After a few minute walk you have a remote, tranquil beach right at your feet.
Crossing Rocks is about 10 min south that has a small but plentiful store that carries all of the necessities. Some locals use this solely as their food source, others supplement in between visits to the larger grocery stores in Marsh Harbour. Crossin Rocks is also well known to hunt fabulous sea glass!
Marsh Harbour is where the airport is along with every other necessity any town would have - bank, liquor store, grocery store, gas stations, clothing, food, stationary, propane etc.
Abaco Grocers is a great place to buy bulk items in Marsh Harbour
Maxwells is more of a traditional grocery store also found in Marsh Harbour
*When you book I will send maps and location of all important locations including bait and tackle shops etc
You won't need to worry about a thing - as we supply your towels, bedding, cookware, beach toys etc
All you need to do is pack your sunblock - and you will need it, whiling away your days on the beach.
Sandy Point is a quaint fishing town 30 min to the south. You can fish off the pier or eat lunch at Nancy's. Sandy point also has a small but reliable grocery store, as well as squid for fishing.
A famous Blue Hole is 10 from Long Beach - National Geographic recently did another study there. It is a great natural destination. You can swim and picnic right along it's edge.
Cherokee Sound is another great place to visit. It has a massive pier and is truly breathtaking. Walking around this historic town, it is hard to imagine times so simple - It is wonderful
Pete's Pub is a highlight to any quest. Conch burger? why not. This off grid pub looks like Jack Sparrow could step off ship and order a cold one. The environment is always laid back and completely chill - *Bring a T shirt from where you are from to hang while there! *Be sure to ask about the origin of this place- this family once left civilization to live in a cave!
The Jib Room - Best ribs ever - and what an atmosphere! have you ever seen anyone play a saw? Well, you can here along with dancing to music with friends and strangers alike.
If you are looking for your typical "all inclusive" vacation or outstanding night life - thankfully, this is not for you.
But if you truly want to immerse yourself in beautiful, tropical nature, filling your days reigniting your relationship with this planet - This is the place for you.
