We are actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) - Clinical Supervisors to join our team in Dayspring, NS. The LPN – Clinical Supervisor will provide professional leadership and promote co-operation by coordinating team development while enhancing the physical and mental well-being of participants in an atmosphere of continuous quality improvement. The LPN – Clinical Supervisor will work with clients, families, other care staff, visiting caregivers, physicians, and stakeholders to ensure quality care is delivered to participants.

- Provide skilled nursing procedures as needed within the Licensed Practical Nurses scope of practice
- Plan and manage participants care according to each participant needs
- Perform mental and physical health assessments and provide emergency care and treatment when required
- Process urgent medication orders from physicians, administer and assess the effects of prescribed medications and treatments for participants
- Properly document, chart, and review pertinent participants information and incident reports
- Plan, implement, document, and evaluate nursing care plans
- Admission and discharge of participantsAbout You:
- Currently licensed by the College of Practical Nurses in Nova Scotia
- Good judgement and the ability to control a crisis situation while making decisions quickly
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with participants that have diverse-abilities
