Hello,
I hope this "rental resume" finds you well.
My husband D, myself S are on the hunt for our new long-term home, and have been on the search since July 15, as we knew after almost 9 yrs our home we shared with our daughter and her family, would be demolished the coming new yr.
We want to make sure it's were we really want to be and not a short-term solution for this housing rental crisis.
Here are some common questions asked by landlords/property agents etc:
Please note we will answer these questions 100 percent truthfully so there is no misunderstandings in the future.
Q** How many people will be renting?
A** 2 (adults 51/54)
Q** Do you work/references/personal?
A** Yes we both work and have excellent work/personal references. (Can send via email)
Q** Do you or anyone living in the home have criminal records?
A** No.
Q** Do you smoke.
A** Yes (never ever in our home)(can leave property if necessary)
Q** How long have you lived in your current home?
A** Almost 9 yrs also>(have references from even before our current home here)
Q** Have you ever been late on rent?
A** Not once.
Q** Do you have pets. (family)
A** Yes. Three, Fat Filo (cat 7yrs old), he is as describe with 3 legs, Cali (cat 3yrs old) and our Sir Henry, (Dog 2yrs old)
All neutered/spayed/tattooed/Cloverdale vet
Q** Do you party/loud/?
A** No.
Q** Are you looking for short-term or long-term?
A** We will only rent for long-term
Q** Are you willing to sign a lease?
A** Absolutely, for everyone's understanding.
Q** Why are you leaving your current rental?
A***Development for condo's.
We rented through a property agency, so everything was checked first.
Ok.
Well I'm sure I am missing something, however please feel free to contact me.
So about us personally.
We a very quite, private, respectful, responsible tenants.
We both work jobs that require us leaving between 630am and returning myself 230pm and hubby about 4ish.
We have a lady who takes our Henry boy for 3 hr walks at derby reach, uplands, Campbell Valley, North 40 reserve.
So Henry is only alone for a few hrs, which he sleeps off his adventures, until I come home and we go out for another shorter adventure.
Henry is very well know in the dog community and he has the best personality.
He doesn't really bark as we trained him from a pup not to bark at every little thing.
He will whine, like the big baby he is.
He absolutely love other dogs, old, young, he will get them playing chase.
Raised with 2 cats.
He loves children so much and misses our granddaughters who he was raised with and looks forward to when they come visit.
We love camping, fishing anything outside.
My husband loves and has been growing our own vegetables in the greenhouse he built.
Our current home has half acre, so beautiful and private.
We bought a ride on mower when we moved in, as we wanted to maintain the beauty.
So we have that if needed for proper maintenance of a large yard.
We have two beautiful granddaughters 10 and 6 we fly in from Edmonton every 3 months for a visit.
We are honestly not the social type, I socialize all day at work, my husband works hard all day.
We are very simple people.
If I have sent resume to you it because we are interested in your suite/property.
I hope this information helps you in making your decisions easier.
Please feel free to ask us questions if anything is unclear.
Thank you for your time.

City Opera Vancouver presents the Canadian premiere of composer Missy Mazzoli’s contemporary masterpiece Song from the Uproar: The Lives and Deaths of Isabelle Eberhardt, on stage February 29 to March 3, 2024 at the York Theatre. One of the most adventurous women of her era, the opera tells the extraordinary life story of the complex, multifaceted Eberhardt - from the death of her family, through her journeys in the North African desert, to her ecstatic religious conversion, and ultimately to her tragic drowning. The role will be brought to life by mezzo soprano Marion Newman, one of the brightest stars in Canada’s classical music firmament. Newman will be supported by a five-person chorus: Katie Fraser, Christina Demeo, Emma Jang, Kiho Sohn, and Jason Sommerville. The work is directed by acclaimed theatre practitioner Ann Hodges, under the baton of City Opera Vancouver Artistic Director Gordon Gerrard. For tickets and information, visit: cityoperavancouver.com
