Welcome to Barker Lakefront Cottage! This recently renovated four season cottage is located in the Haliburton Highlands region - approximately 2.5 hours from Toronto. Situated on a quiet lake with large 150 feet shoreline frontage, perfect for swimming or lounging on the dock. Located in the Highlands East, in the geocaching capital, there is something for everyone - hiking, biking, snowmobiling, Fishing relaxation or adventure - you'll find it here!
The cottage features beautifully finished, open-concept main living areas. The living room boasts a large scenic window overlooking the lake, ideal for enjoying sunrise views. Amenities include a flat-screen TV, Amazon Fire Stick, WiFi, comfortable seating, and ample space for your family. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, toaster, coffee maker, Keurig, dishes, pots and pans.
There are three bedrooms and one bathroom in the cottage. The master bedroom offers a queen-size bed, the second bedroom includes a queen-size bed and a twin-size bunk bed, and the third bedroom features two twin-size bunk beds. The bathroom is complete with a four-piece setup (tub/shower/toilet/sink). The whole cottage has blackout curtains for a good night sleep.

For those of you who are into smaller lakes, Cardiff Lake is an intimate lake in the Haliburton Highlands - the lake is spring-fed and landlocked. This cottage is conveniently situated on a country road off Hwy 648 just outside of Wilberforce where there is a good size food store (Foodland), restaurant, service station, banking, LCBO and convenience store for all your cottaging needs.
Bancroft is approximately 20 kilometres away and Haliburton is approximately 30 kilometres away from our cottage.

Water's Edge Cottages is located at 386 Front Street west in Bobcaygeon. It is a great quality yet affordable cottage resort on the shores of Sturgeon Lake in the Kawartha Lake region of Ontario.
We are within walking distance to the village of Bobcaygeon in the old county of Victoria, now known as the City of Kawartha Lakes. Though Bobcaygeon is a comfortable drive from busy urban areas, its small town setting transports visitors to a world of its own.
Waters Edge is fortunate to have six self-contained cottages so that our guests can enjoy their stay while being physically distant from others. Our property is also spacious enough to enjoy the beautiful outdoors separate from others. In addition, all cottages have a propane barbecue, picnic table and ample parking. The two bedroom, fully winterized cottages can accommodate four.
