The security/damage/cleaning deposit is fully refundable if you strip the bedding, do the dishes, vacuum the floors, take out the garbage before you leave and there is no damage beyond reasonable wear and tear. Basically, "Leave it the way you found it" and make your mother proud.
Must be 25 or older and photo ID is required upon booking. Check in 3PM & out is 11AM unless otherwise arranged. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure booking. Remaining balance due one week prior to check in.

A simple and comfortable stay in this 320 sq. ft cabin right on Arran Lake. 10 Minutes away to Southampton and Lake Huron.
You have your own private deck, right on the edge of the water with incredible sunrises over the lake. Your own firepit and bbq to make memorable evenings. The cabin is an open layout with 1 queen bed on the main floor and one more queen mattrass on the floor up in the loft. The loft is accessible by ladder and we don't recommend this to be used by people who have mobility issues or small children. This cabin is meant to unplug and unwind, there is no tv or wifi in the cabin. You can bring your own device and download shows prior to coming. There is also no a/c. Fans are provided including a large ceiling fan. And all windows can open up and have screens in them to keep bugs out.
Comforters and pillows are provided, please bring your own towels and linens.
The cabin is located at Arran Lake 15 Retreat. During your stay you will enjoy exclusive access to the whole cabin, fire pit , a picnic table and the deck with BBQ. Walking distance from the cabin is a boat launch and free of charge you can launch your boat, kayak or canoes. At this point we have no rentals available, you will have to bring your own if you like to venture out on the lake. Arran lake is a wonderful lake for fishing, but not from the shore as it is very weedy.

2026 Spring Nights run from May 7 to June 18. Spring rentals are $135/Night (price based on 2 Nights Minimum: Add $50 for only 1 Night = $185 Total). Add $25 for Victoria Day Long Weekend bookings.
2026 Summer Nights run from June 19 to Sept 3. Summer rentals are $165/Night (price based on 4 Nights Minimum: Add $50/Night For Each Night Under Minimum). Add $50 for both Summer Long Weekend bookings.
Check-In Time is after 4PM (and and appreciated if before 9PM when possible). Self Check-In is also an option. Check-Out Time is by 2PM.

We are located @ 74 Pinehurst Ave (near Sunset Ave) in Grand Marais Manitoba, which is a short 4 minute drive to beautiful Grand Beach to swim and tan in the Summer (with world famous sand and sand bars so safe for the little ones), or an easy 300 meter walk down the street to the lake to fish and explore all rental season and to take in the beautiful sunsets. It's a great area for taking a walk, hiking, biking, ATVing and deer watching. You could even spend the day at our guest cottage on the back patio soaking in the sun, or just enjoying a nice bonfire overlooked from your front deck.
Our guest cottage has a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge, stove, slow cooker, coffee maker, kettle, drinking water cooler, dishes & cutlery), bathroom with flush toilet & shower, 43" Sharp Roku 4K UHD Smart TV, Bell Satellite TV, VHS & DVD players, High Speed Internet with WiFi and a VoIP phone with FREE local calling around the Grand Beach area and FREE calls to/from Winnipeg. 2 parking spaces are included with your rental.
Amenities in the area within walking distance include convenience stores, liquor mart, restaurants, beer store/bar and even a mini-putt. It's only a 20 minute drive to South Beach Casino, and if you like to golf, we have several golf courses in the area: 17 minute drive to Grand Pines golf course, 24 minute drive to Victoria Beach golf course (Note: you must walk the last 750 meters during July-August so 30 minutes total), or a 36 minute drive to Pine Falls golf course. Welcome to Harrington Haven, a beautiful Lake Front Cottage and expansive private property on beautiful Trout Lake, New Albany, NS; just 15 minutes from Middleton or 1 hr 40 mins from Halifax. We have one of the best waterfronts on Trout Lake! Swim or launch the canoe our Kayaks from our sandy beach or jump off the Dock. Many sizes provided in the deck box. There is a large lawn for playing the provided lawn games together, and board games and all streaming services on the TV with Bell Fiber wifi.
We offer our guests sleeping quarters in 2 buildings: the main cottage has a queen in the front bedroom, a twin bunkbed in the back bedroom and a set of twin beds in the cozy loft. The bunkhouse has two more queens. Maximum occupancy is 8. There is 1 bathroom. A well-behaved pet may be allowed
