Seeking reliable, energic nurse (RPN or RN) to work with a child who is ventilator and wheelchair dependant, and requires 24/7 airway monitoring.
Shifts: every other Saturday (ie 2/month) and 2 evenings/week. More shifts available if interested.
Pay Rate: starting at $33/hour (RPN rate)
During your shift you will be responsible for:
- managing respiratory care (including ventilator and suction machines),
- managing trach care,
- g-tube feeds,
- managing gtube care,
- administering medications,
- using a cough assist (an artificial cough assistant device),
- Range of motion, physio,
- experience with Hoyer lift,
- activities of daily living (ADLs), and
- General care as needed.
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted licence to practice through the College of Nurses of Ontario
- A valid driver’s licence and vehicle
- A clear vulnerable sector check
- Current CPR certification
- Proof of liability insurance (if you're registered through CNO you have it already)
You must be able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs and/or using a lift and comfortable using technology (computer, IPads, etc) and you must love working with children.

I work full time, 9-5 Monday through Friday and drive using adapted controls in my van. I try to be as independent as possible but my physical limitations mean that I largely depend on the help of others to carry out certain essential daily activities on a routine basis. Assistance is required in the mornings to get me out of bed, in the evenings to assist with toileting and getting me back into bed, as well as some afternoons and evenings for meal prep and light housekeeping.
Available Shifts:
Mornings
• Mon to Fri - up to 2 hours starting around 6am
• Sat, Sun - up to 2 hours starting around 8am
Evenings

HELP, I am a high-needs, young-minded, middle-aged female with MS, and I am looking for two part time female care givers. Caregivers are becoming difficult to find. One position is 4 full days a week, the other is a few evenings a week.
The DAYTIME position is temporary until April and would be starting late January, but there is a very good chance this position will become permanent. Shift would be from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, $20.00 an hour to start. The Skin Care/Laser Treatment Specialist will ensure treatments start and end on time. You will maintain knowledge to promote and sell laser treatments and skin care services. You will ensure work equipment is sanitized and treat clients in a courteous and empathetic manner.
To ensure success, you should meet revenue goals, ensure client retention and build a solid client base. Ideal candidates has good customer service skills and will be empathetic, patient, reliable, caring, ethical and professional, and have the ability to make others feel good about themselves.
The successful candidate is expected to contribute positively to the implementation of Nani’s Esthetics Vision and Mission, operate in a collaborative team setting, and maintain high productivity levels, strong work ethics and quality of work.
This is a full-time position, not less than minimum of 30 to maximum of 40 hours per week, job is non-seasonal, with salary ranging from $18 to $25 per hour. The candidate MUST have 2 or more years of related work experience (e.g. skin care and/or laser treatment experience), commensurate with the job posting requirements and qualifications. The successful candidate will undergo 90 days of work probation. Staff will be entitled for a group insurance benefits upon passing the probationary period.
Skin Care/Laser Treatment Specialist Responsibilities:
1. Will provide the following treatments and services:
-Facial Treatments
-Microdermabrasion
-Laser Skin Rejuvenation
-Laser Hair Removal
-Laser Acne Removal
-Laser Vascular Treatments
-Laser Wrinkle Reduction
-Laser Skin Tightening
-Laser Pigmented Lesions
-Laser Body Contouring
-Laser Cellulite Reduction2. Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule.
3. Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms, and thanking them sincerely on departure.
4. Consulting with clients to obtain information about contraindications, and examining skin to evaluate suitability of treatments.
5. Advising clients on skin care, and recommending suitable treatments and home care regimens based on their needs and concerns
6. Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests.
7. Maintaining strong product knowledge to promote and sell laser and skin care treatments, services, and products.
8. Adhering to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance of equipment.
9. Caring for linens and replacing them between sessions.
10. Ceasing treatment and informing supervisor in the event of inappropriate guest behavior.Skin Care/Laser Treatment Specialist Requirements:
-Diploma and/or Certificate/s in Laser Treatment/Skin Care Esthetics Course.
-2+ years related industry experience is a MUST.
-Proficient in performing above all applicable treatments.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Neat and with pleasing personality, outstanding people skills and warm, friendly manner.
-Detail-oriented with a passion for skincare and beauty
-Ability to stand for extended periods.
-Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
-Ability to use computer for booking clients.
