We take the time to educate our clients on the digital landscape and help them make wise decisions with their marketing budgets to generate leads and close sales. * Job Title: Social Media Specialist * Reports To: Content Marketing Manager * Department: Client Services * Position: Permanent, full-time, hourly * Wage: Commensurate with experience * Group Benefits: Employees who maintain a minimum of 20 hours of work per week for 3 months will be eligible for benefits after successful completion of the probation period * Vacation: 4% Vacation Accrual * Approximately 2 weeks per year for full-time employees Primary Duties & Responsibilities The primary functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Social Media Management * Develop and implement effective social media strategies, plans, and campaigns for Sayvee clients, Sayvee Creative itself, and any Sayvee Creative sub-brands * Execute social media campaigns for maximum effect while adhering to budgets, profits margins, and brand standards * Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to align social media activities with broader marketing campaigns * Create and publish content for the social media accounts, including text, images, photography, and video * Manage and schedule posts using social media management tools * Monitor, respond, and engage users on social media in a timely manner * Use analytics and data-driven insights to measure the success of campaigns, prepare social media reports, analyze, and inform strategy * Participate in client meetings as requested and liaise with internal team members and third-party/contractors * Support the sales and marketing team in discovery, needs analysis, and proposal preparation * Develop and implement a client reporting structure * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies, and identify new opportunities for growth * Collaborate on the development of social media management product and service offerings, scope, and pricing Graphic Design * Participate in design projects from conception to completion primarily in social media, but also in support of the graphic design team as needed * Meet with clients and/or internal team to understand the requirements and vision for the design elements and then get creative with planning and developing design assets * Design and produce visual elements utilizing graphic design software and graphic editing tools such as Adobe Suite * Review and proof design assets prior to internal team and/or client approval * Respond to internal team and/or client feedback with a balance of flexibility and adherence to design standards * Continuously improve design processes and workflows * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques Photography & Videography * Capture photos and videos as required by the Marketing and Client Services department - including action, lifestyle, food & beverage, events, location, and scenic photography and videography * Research, plan, and execute photo and video shoots including such items as brainstorms, mood boards, scripts, production plans and budgets, shot lists * Edit photos and social media videos (stories, reels, animations, etc.) * Work with the internal team members or coordinate with third-party/contracted photo and video talent when required (specifically when outside of current capabilities) * Managing model release forms, from securing the signatures to archiving signed documents * Organize and coach clients participating in on site content creation * Assist in maintaining photo and video b-roll libraries * Provide contact sheets and final photography and video outputs in required formats Email Marketing Support * Promote and share information, news, and offers about Sayvee Creative and Sayvee clients through email and SMS marketing * Adhere to 'best practices' and legal regulations (e.g., GDPR or CASL) * Assist in the creation, development, execution, and maintenance of email marketing campaigns including newsletters, outbound email, drip email, and nurture email marketing. * Learn and utilize email marketing tools (as determined) for deploying, automating, and reporting on email campaigns * Manage and coordinate with internal team and external contractors in the development of email campaigns in email template creation, content creation, and copywriting * Perform render testing across devices, email clients, and ISPs to ensure that emails are rendering correctly for the majority of the subscriber base * Compile and manage email databases/list with an understanding of 'best practices' in list management and segmentation * Track, analyze, and report on email campaign Job ID: 45015409
