This is an open event for anyone 19yrs+ interested in LEGO®. Any AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO®) is welcome whether you collect sets, build sets or build your own creations. Monthly meetings allow members to share ideas, discuss LEGO® products, plan our involvement in community events, and share and build creations in a collaborative and supportive environment. Come share your love of LEGO® with us. We love to meet new folks!
The Mid Island LEGO® Users Group (MILUG) is a group of AFOLs from many communities in the mid island area of Vancouver Island. We are a friendly, inclusive, and collaborative association of diverse individuals who support each other and who are involved in the community.
Membership is open to anyone 19 years of age and over who has a personal interest in LEGO® as a hobby. Members have a variety of building interests and skill levels but we all share a love of LEGO®. Membership is not required to attend your first meet-up so come out, meet our members (we’re really friendly), and find out what LUGs (LEGO® User Groups) are all about!
Due to the pandemic we are currently meeting online on the first Wednesday of every month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Please contact us via our website milug.ca, or message us on Facebook (@midislandlug) for the link to join the meeting.

PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR RESEARCH IN Leisure, work and retirement
We are looking for people born between 1946-1965 to take part in a study of work and retirement transitions among baby boomers. You do not need to be retired or even planning to retire.
As a participant in this study, you will be asked to participate in an online blog by sharing your experiences and perceptions of leisure, work and retirement.
Your participation would involve 4 sessions per year for three years, each of which is approximately two weeks. You will be asked to log on to the blog about 5 times in each session. You can create new posts and/or comment on the posts of others.
If you volunteer to participate, you will be contacted by a researcher to help you set up an account and get comfortable navigating the blog. In appreciation for your time, you will receive a $50.00 gift card annually
For more information about this study, or to volunteer for this study, please contact: Rebecca Genoe Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies at 306-585-4781 or Email: rebecca.genoe@uregina.ca
