PARTICIPANTS NEEDED FOR RESEARCH on leisure and life experiences for the baby boom generation. We are looking for people born between 1946-1965 to take part in a study of leisure, work, and life transitions. While many baby boomers have begun to retire, others are unable to retire or are choosing not to retire for a variety of reasons. If this sounds like you, we want to learn from you.
As a participant in this study, you will be asked to participate in an online blog with others in your generation by sharing your experiences and perceptions of leisure, work, and your decision not to retire. Your participation would involve 4 sessions per year for three years, each of which is approximately two weeks. You will be asked to log on to the blog about 5 times in each session. You can create new posts and/or comment on the posts of others. If you volunteer to participate, you will be contacted by a researcher to help you set up an account and get comfortable navigating the blog.
In appreciation for your time, you will receive a $50.00 gift card annually. For more information about this study, or to volunteer for this study, please contact: Rebecca Genoe Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies at 306-585-4781 or Email: rebecca.genoe@uregina.ca. This study has been reviewed and received approval through the Research Ethics Board, University of Regina.

Shout Sister! Choir
Midland Chapter
Monday mornings from *9:50 - 11 am
Come Zoom with us
Come sing your cares away!Shout Sister has created a unique, enjoyable choir experience while singing from the comfort of your own home. We use Zoom to meet virtually every Monday morning. Zoom is easy to install, user-friendly, and works on most computers, smartphones, and tablets. We have support to help you get set-up and running every step of the way. We will return to in-person practices when we are able to do so safely. You can Zoom from anywhere so we will offer monthly payments to out of town singers.
Julia Johnston directs the Midland chapter of Shout Sister. Julia is an accomplished actress, singer, vocal coach, and choir Director. She also directs the Orillia and Barrie chapters of Shout Sister Choir.
There are 25 Chapters of Shout Sister! Choir in Ontario and we are constantly growing. Shout Sister! takes an unorthodox approach to choral singing. We do not audition, and we sing a fun variety of music from pop and Motown, to folk, to a touch of country and blues. We learn from recorded tracks, so we require no reading of music. Our method is fresh and fun, and we are a warm and welcoming community.
Everyone is welcome.
We would love to have you join us!
For information on joining please contact
members@shoutsisterchoir.ca
*Please note this time slot will change back to 12 pm -2 pm in a few months

We are busy planning and working out details for our new “Youth Mentorship Program” that we will be rolling out.
Our goal is to make this program 100% free for our youth or definitely as low cost as we possibly can, as we never turn anyone away due to financial reasons.
We have already secured sponsorship for two youth when the program begins and we would love to secure a few more sponsorship spots as we KNOW there are many youth that could benefit from this initiative.
If you have a youth that would benefit from coming to our barn or you have questions, please reach out.
If you are a business or an individual interested in sponsoring a youth, please reach out to discuss the opportunity
It truly does take a village ❤️

I'm looking to get back into fishing after a few years. I don't have a boat. I normally fish from the shore but if someone has a boat I can pay half the expenses. I'm retired so I"m available most of the time.

WHY I AM INVITING YOU TO JOIN IN THE CONVERSATION IN AN OFF-GRID GROUP CAMP-OUT THIS SUMMER OF 2021
God led me to buy this off-grid property to give people a chance to escape the four walls. This video tells in my own words from the Lord why I believe the evacuation of Earth is imminent and the Master is at the door ready to come for His Bride.Alone with the Lord, here, I received many personal corrections from my own flaws and beliefs from what I picked up in the world. These carnal and worldly views in effect, interferes with the true ability to hear and see Jesus the way He wants us to. He has given me messages to share with those He loves. If you are reading this, it is because He has directed you see this invitation. God acts as God, not the way people limit His ability to move through them, whether they are aware of it or not. God has placed a desire for something radically different than the norm. Will you answer the call? Will you have faith, or doubt and fear? Please feel welcome to contact me with questions. -Michael Hunter

Hi,
My name is Conrad.
I'd like to meet up with other musicians and play. I've played by myself for a few years and am now looking to connect with other enthusiastic musicians about it. I would say I'm an advanced beginner.
I wish I could play guitar like this:
Red Clay -Jack Wilkins
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9W7hB7lGN0
Suspicious Child, Growing Up - Volker Kriegel
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2JsjugUqCA
Maggot Brain - Funkadelic
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOKn33-q4Ao
Jimi Hendrix
Gilmour
Sadly I am NOWHERE near this skilled. If you know how to play like this I would love to chat with you.
Other songs I like:
Waiting around to die - Townes Van Zandt
Please don't step on my rainbow - the cleaners from venus
Straight to hell - the clash
Werewolf - Michael Hurley
Ghost song - Jim Morison
The girl in the yellow dress - david gilmour
Strawberry Fields Forever - Richie Havens cover
I have no experience playing with others - aside from a couple years in grade school bands - but I think and hope that I could catch on quickly. I have the time and inspiration to pursue music now, and I think the next step for my musical adventure is to connect with others. I am not sure how that looks - so please send me a message and we can go from there. Thanks. I'm a 28 year old man.
Play on,
Conrad

Hi.
I would like to find some more TRUE Christians.
Tired of 'church-goers', pretenders, fakes, liars...
Do you LOVE God's word and CONTINUE in it? (John 8:31-32)
Do you accept it as the FINAL AUTHORITY in all matters of FAITH (what you believe) and PRACTICE (what you do)?
The fact is, that it IS the FINAL authority - whether you accept it as that yet, or not.
Do you love to search the scriptures daily whether (those) things were so? (Acts 17:11)
Do you PROVE ALL THINGS, HOLD FAST THAT WHICH IS GOOD? (I Thess 5:21)
In other words, are you REALLY a Christian - a TRUE Christian?
If so (or if you WANT to be a REAL Christian, a TRUE Christian) then give me a shout - by email or phone. phone is 705-286-3039
Thank you.
Mike.
