EcoTreeCo – The Ecological Tree Company is hiring tree planting crew members for the spring planting season (May–June).
We plant boulevard and landscape trees across southern Manitoba and are looking for reliable people who enjoy working outdoors and physical work.
This is a great position for someone with experience in landscaping, farming, construction, or outdoor labour.
Important:
This is physical outdoor work involving digging, lifting, and moving trees and materials. Applicants should be comfortable with physical work and working outside in all weather conditions.
Training is provided.

• Class 3 driver’s licence
• ISA Arborist certification

• Crew meets in north Winnipeg and carpool to job sites in Winnipeg and Selkirk, Manitoba

Hiring: Crop Production Laborer/Operator.
J & G Wilson Farms is a multi-generation grain farm located near Rathwell MB. We are a progressive operation, using modern technology and equipment, producing corn, edible beans, sunflowers, and cereal crops. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a general farm laborer and equipment operator. Full-time or seasonal considered.
Job Duties/Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
· Operate farm equipment, including tillage, fertilizer floater, air seeding or planting, sprayer, tender trucks, grain cart, grain hauling, monitor grain dryer, etc.
· Perform general maintenance of farm equipment and work around the shop. Applicants with higher mechanical ability would be a major asset.
· Odd jobs during slower periods such as mowing, yard spraying, etc.
Qualifications:
· Ideally 3-5 years of production agriculture experience, but would train the right applicant.
· Post-secondary education in an agricultural or mechanical field is an asset but not required.
· Willing to work long hours during planting and harvest seasons. Outside of those seasons the hours are more standard and flexible.
· Demonstrate general knowledge of agronomic practices as well as willingness to learn.
· Knowledge of mechanical operation of agricultural equipment, including general maintenance and repair.
· Ability to work, communicate, and problem-solve as a team.
· Class 5 drivers license required. Class 1 a major asset. Could send the right individual for training.
· Driven personality, positive attitude, with desire to succeed as a team.
