I am a certified school teacher, powerskating certified, canskate certified, former hockey and ringette player, mother of 3 grown children offering private skating lessons to anyone learning to skate. The instruction is not for experienced skaters looking to improve stride, speed, etc. because instruction is done on public ice time and at times there are many skaters on the ice.
Your skater should be able to make their way across the width of the ice to benefit from instruction. Depending on the skill level of your skater I will provide one-on-one instruction, forward and backward skating, balance, stopping, turns, cross-overs etc. Instruction will be in Sherwood Park during public skate. $60 for 30 to 45 min. You also must pay for public skate entrance fee. Monday-Thursday starting at 4. Sat and Sun. 9AM-Noon.

My name is Susan, and I am a qualified, and very experienced instructor, with over 30 years of teaching experience, both in a private setting, and at the university level. I have taught students of all ages and levels of study. My education includes a BA (Mus), andMMus (Piano Performance).

In the past couple of years I have started teaching virtually, and you may wonder if learning to play piano in this format is effective. The answer is YES! My students have had great results with remote lessons!.
I have found that in terms of musical growth, we can accomplish the same things online as we could in person. This includes the student/teacher relationship which is so important. On top of that, I really enjoy being able to share my love of music with students from so many different locations.

When: Between Feb 14th - March 20th
Where: My studio in south Edmonton
Receive a complimentary 1 hour session with full posing direction and multiple outfit changes. $300 value!
The Details:
• All body sizes and shapes welcome. Primarily looking for female identifying folks
• Must be willing to sign a model release form as images will be used on website and social media
• Must be 18 yrs or older
• No previous experience necessary but must be comfortable in front of the camera
• Digital images, albums and prints are available seperately.
