The ideal candidate will have experience with glass cutting, measuring, and installation, as well as knowledge of the tools and techniques necessary to complete projects. Knowledge and experience installing entrance doors is encouraged.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently.
Responsibilities:Measure and cut glass to size.
Install and repair glass in windows, doors, and other structures.
Install glazing materials such as putty, glazing points, and clips.
Use a variety of tools to install glass including drills, saws, hammers, and other hand tools.
Inspect existing glazing for damage or wear and tear.

Manually load and unload various types of materials
Assist in all other duties assigned
Ideally candidates must have their own transportation to get to the local job sites. A Class G license is an asset , with a clean driving record in order to drive company vehicles.Work hours can be greater than 8 hours in day, and can require weekend work, as this industry is dependent on weather and timely completion of jobs hours can be varied.

SkyCare Air Ambulance currently has openings on our team for full-time AME at our Sioux Lookout base. SkyCare is a growing and dynamic Air Ambulance/Air Charter Service headquartered in Sioux Lookout, Ontario that provides exceptional air charter and medevac services across Canada and the United States with a focus on Ontario and Manitoba.
The AME will report to the Base Engineer but ultimately to the Director of Maintenance. The successful candidate will perform the maintenance, repairs, modification, overhauls, and alterations of SkyCare’s aircrafts. All maintenance activities will be accomplished in accordance with policies, procedures and instructions contained in the MCM, MPM and Transport Canada requirements. This position has a modified work schedule that is a week on/ week off.
Qualifications:
• Valid Transport Canada issued AME M1 license required/M2 rating an asset
• Previous experience with Aircraft Maintenance Systems (AMS) an asset
• Previous experience with Navajo Chieftain and Metro/Merlin aircraft an asset
• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and excellent trouble shooting skills

The Heavy Equipment Technician is responsible for making recommendations regarding the extent of repairs and suggest methods of improvement, repair the equipment in a timely and financially responsible manner, interpret work orders and technical manuals, and more duties as required
