With 8+ years of experience as a Personal Trainer and a BSc in Kinesiology I have a perfect balance between experience and education. I specialize in strength training, muscle gain, and injury rehab / movement optimization around injuries. The Weight Pit is a private gym where our goal is to provide top level fitness training and education, personalized to each clients goals and capabilities.
Rates are from $35-$60 for a private session, if you come with a friend or family member it’s half off for second person. Online coaching is also an option, rates are $150 for 4 weeks of programming and video reviews with feedback.
Drop ins to use the gym are $25 and are by appointment only to avoid overlap with private sessions so please contact me if you want to come train.I have been doing personal training for over 7 years and have been training myself for over 18 years. I am a certified coach with the Canadian powerlifting union and am happy to share my knowledge about gaining strength and losing fat with my clients. Clients will receive 1 hour training sessions along with nutritional guidance to help hit their individual goals.
The gym is equipped with over 2000kg/4400lb of plates and dumbbells from 3lb-180lb. There are multiple kinds of specialty bars to work around mobility issues, or just to change things up (safety squat bar, buffalo bar, Swiss bar, etc). The gym has a belt squat machine, reverse hyper, and glute hamstring developer machine that is not found in commercial gyms. The gym is also equipped with strongman implements such as; axle bar, log, atlas stones, sandbags, farmers walk handles, and much more.

My name is Sabrina and I have been a lifeguard and swim instructor at Trent University for 6 years, 4 of them as a Head Instructor. This is my fourth summer offering private swimming lessons. I completed a BScH in Biology at Trent University and am completing my first year in a Bachelor of Education at Trent.
