Assist with transfers and mobility including; bathing, dressing, grooming for a middle-aged female. Personal hygiene including skincare, eye, oral care, hands and feet.

TERM Care attendant needed for 7-8 hours daily Monday to Friday Starting August 28th 8am to 3 or 4pm (details to be determined for end time) in Northwest Winnipeg. Garden Grove/Tyndal Park area.
Care is for a young man with quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. He is currently waiting a spot in a day program. Two week notice will be given prior to ending arrangements.
Preference given to health care aides/nurses and Educational Assistants, people with background education and experience is a MUST. English needs to be clear for him to understand, as he does have full compression, however, struggles with language barriers.
Mandatory criminal record check, and vulnerable persons check. Valid CPR. Must have valid drivers licence for outings, vehicle provided.
Young man is non speaking, tube fed, and requires full assistance for ALL activities of daily living, and requires medication administered.
We have an over head lift and a medical bed, however body strength is a mandatory for changing/repositioning etc.
Must not be afraid or allergic to dogs. We have two young dogs. They will require being let out throughout the day for bathroom breaks.
No preference for male or female attendant.
