A SUBWAY® Supervisor® greets and serves guests, prepares food, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
- Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill. Collects payment from guests and makes change.

- Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual.
- Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the SUBWAY® Operations Manual.
- Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.

What is the job?
* Working Inside
* Moves material to and from storage and production areas
* May clean material using a grinder, file, or brush
* handling and/or cleaning material
* Receives written or oral instructions for work assignments, determines applicable material and equipment needs.
* Attaches identifying tags to material and/or marks them with pertinent information.
* Hangs/takes down racks of material using specific training methods.
* Carries out general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and picking up discarded material.
* Inspects material for sags, runs, drips and bare areas.
* Cleans material as specified by the customer.
* Confers with leads and/or supervisors to report material conditions that could result in production or customer problems.
* Assists in proper loading material.
* Must have above ankle steel toed work boots
* Flexible with hours and OT available
* Physical labour - Heavy team lifting
What do you bring to the job?
* Ability to safely team lift heavy objects
* Able to effectively communicate
* Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies up to 50lbs
* Must be able to distinguish colors.
* Noise level is generally loud
* Experience in Construction and overheard crane would be an asset
